Consumer Complaint: I was contacted multiple times throughut the day and when i had a moment to answer the guy on the other end was very rude and called me stupid because i said i couldnt pay the debt he then called me stupid because i didnt recognize the debt and he again called me stupid and stated that they bought the debt and could collect even though i explained my situation. That i was unable to pay any debts as my significant other is suffering from a mental disorder and that it took precedence over paying. also they went around me when i didnt respond the first few times and called my mother and sister whom do not live with me.

The accounts are joint but they wipe out my husband 's social security money that is deposited there too. I send them proof of what funds are not my earnings and they say they never received that. My wages are garnished. They say the debt belongs to Midland Funding, LLC and I have to call them regarding what the debt is for. Midland says I have to get the information from XXXX. They say I was served papers. I never was. I don't know if my identity has been stolen or what but this is crazy.

Consumer Complaint: Midland Credit Management is calling every day. I have notified the collector to " cease and desist '' repeatedly. I have not had a bad debt since XXXX. I have worked hard to rebuild my credit rating. This is in violation of federal fair debt collection practices act. And this is well beyond the State of Oregon 7-year collection period. The collector will not let me speak and talks loud over my voice. I have tried to communicate. But this is harassment.

Consumer Complaint: I, a consumer defined as, any natural person obligated or allegedly obligated to pay a debt pursuant to 15 USC 1692 ( a ) ( 3 ), have suffered from various violations of my Consumer rights protected by the Fair Debt Collection Act in connection with the collection of an alleged debt. I am aware and have proof that Midland Credit Management has violated 15 USC 1681 ( a ) ( 1 ), 15 USC 1681 ( a ) ( 2 ), 15 USC 1681 ( a ) ( 3 ), 15 USC 1681 ( a ) ( 4 ). On XX/XX/2023 I sent Midland a letter to validate the debt they claim I owed. I have disputed the alleged debt multiple times and allowed Midland Credit Management appropriate time to show evidence of the alleged debt they claim I owe. They have disregarded these repeated requests and only sends a bank statement. They have not provided me with a copy of any original documentation ( a consumer contract with my signature on it ) as required under Section 609 ( a ) ( 1 ) ( A ) & Section 611 ( a ) ( 1 ) ( A ). Furthermore, they have failed to provide the method of verification as required under Section 611 ( a ) ( 7 ). I have suffered severe humiliation, embarrassment, emotional distress, and physical discomfort. I have been getting denied a car loan. Because of this I have missed multiple days of work due to no reliable transportation. Midland has violated 15 USC 1692 ( c ) of the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act by harassing me regarding this debt.
