Consumer Complaint: I, the consumer, disputed this debt in XXXX of 2020 withXX/XX/XXXX XXXX XXXX After an investigation, the credit bureau concluded that these accounts were incorrect, and sent notification to Midland Credit Management to cease reporting and trying to collect the erroneous account information. Despite notification and removal of the errors by XX/XX/XXXX XXXX, Midland Credit Management has continued to report the erroneous information to other credit bureaus, attempted to collect, and has continued to operate in violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act, ss611.5Ai. I have resubmitted documentation to MCM, per their reluctant suggestion and would like the assistance of the CFPB in resolving this gross negligence in credit reporting. From : On their letter : On their Envelope : " Midland Credit Management No name XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, CA XXXX. XXXX XXXX, MN XXXX XXXX fraudulent address of MCM is XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX/ My letter sent to that address was returned, " Not deliverable as addressed, unable to forward ''. Those letters are signed " XXXX XXXX, Consumer Support Services ''. Probably a non existent person. Checking this firm on the web shows another complaint about their fraudulent practices.

Consumer Complaint: Midland Credit Management is attempting to collect a significant amount of {$950.00}. This is an outrageous and horrendous amount since I don't owe them that much. I called them and a representative told me this onXX/XX/XXXX. I believe this is coercion because they have also threaten to sue me for the deceptive amount via mail. They have also attempted numerous of times in unwanted times of the day to call me in attempt to collect this fraudulent amount of debt. I believe this is in direct violation to the Fair Credit Reporting Act because of inaccurate amount and the huge count of unsolicited calls made to my personal phone line by this collection agency. They also fail to report the collection to the three major credit bureaus when this account got sold into collections back in XX/XX/2020. This is more than the 90 day period it takes for it be reported as collections.

Consumer Complaint: Hello, and I hope all is well. While reviewing the credit profile to XXXX/XXXX/XXXX, the number of uncertain tradelines continues to be placed when the debt is unknown to the credit profile. Midland Funding hired a third-party collection of XXXX to report items on the credit profile. Wanted to satisfy the debt. Customer service refused payment, requested documents, documents sent. If practices failed with refusing payments, as a consumer, my credit shouldn't be compromised. The continued actions have violated the Federal Credit Reporting Act. This is a violation of the law with continued failed practices, which decreases my credit score and creditworthiness.

Consumer Complaint: On XXXX XXXX, 2020 I requested an investigation regarding inaccurate/erroneous items on my credit file that were being reported illegally. On XXXX XXXX, 2020, your agency sent a letter stating that you had completed your investigation and the items were not deleted, as requested. I requested for a reinvestigation as my right under FCRA 611 and on XXXX XXXX, 2020, XXXX did not delete as requested and just updated the accounts for Midland Funding. As relevant proof I disputed these Midland Funding accounts with XXXX, since XXXX had a different name reporting along with my other personal information, as a result XXXX deleted the erroneous Midland Funding accounts from my credit report. I believe I have become a victim of Identity Theft. I have attached copies of my XXXX credit report.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2020, I sent a letter to this company under the name of Midland Funding LLC for account number XXXX for a balance of {$370.00} reported as an account in collections. I asked them in writing to send me a copy of the signed credit application for the debt from the original creditor with whom I had filed an identity theft report in the past. XXXX months have passed and I have not received a response. Perhaps they replied and the post office is delayed and this is why I waited three months to file this complaint.
