Consumer Complaint: I obtained a secured credit card from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX with a deposit of {$300.00}. After 1st month card had {$300.00} charged on it. I paid first payment and tried to close acct. They would not close it. They had my {$300.00} and I had {$300.00} in charges I tried to close acct again. They didn't close my acct they continued to charge me interest on the {$300.00}. My {$300.00} went in their pocket I guess. my acct was sold to MIDLAND CREDIT MANAGEMENT in the amt of {$630.00}. I don't owe them anything and their negative report on my credit report is hurting me. Please help me resolve this. thank you

Consumer Complaint: XXXX XXXX equipment was taken back to a proper location after service had ended. The convertor box was taken in by a XXXX representative and a receipt was issued. However box was serial number was not entered into system as returned. Two years later XXXX posted a collection charge of {$430.00} on my credit bureau and is been trying to collect. I have contested numerous times with all 3 agencies, and the 3 agencies took the side of the vendor stating debt is legit without actually investigating it properly. Please help me remove this debt collection on my bureaus which is shown under Midland Credit Debt Collection company. Regardless this is a very old debt now, way over 4 years. Please help me!

Consumer Complaint: My father whom I share the same name with has stolen my identity and was been opening up numerous account of various types over the last several years. I have filed countless police reports, however the problem continues because I do not know where he is located. All I know is that he lives somewhere in Florida. Midland Credit Management has sent me some very threatening letters and voicemails in regards to suing me for accounts that are not mine. There are five account with different amounts, which include : XXXX XXXX for the amount of {$370.00} XXXX XXXX for the amount of {$650.00} XXXX XXXX for the amount of {$660.00} XXXX XXXX for the amount of {$9900.00} XXXX for the amount of {$1100.00} The original creditor for the above mentioned accounts is XXXX XXXX. I have reached out to them numerous times to let them know that this matter is identity theft, however they do not believe me and sent these fraudulent accounts to collections with Midland Credit Management.

Consumer Complaint: I found out that the account i paid off is not being reflected as such on my credit report so i contacted midland credit management ( the company i paid ) and they said that the original creditor ( XXXX XXXX is reporting the account incorrectly ) and that i need to contact them. the response i received from XXXX XXXX is that i need to contact midland credit in which i have already done. I am just getting run around while no one is updating or fixing the issue to reflect that the account was paid and not a charge off or whatever incorrect status they have it sitting in. I am resubmitting this complaint with the document that shows the account was paid and nothing owed so it should reflect a paid status on my credit report.

Consumer Complaint: I have submitted on many occassions ( XXXX, XXXX, XXXX, ) for Midland Credit to provide me with a physical copy of my contract with them and the original creditor XXXX XXXX, showing that the account is indeed my account. I have only received the name, an amount and a date they opened the account. That is not a validation or itemization of the account. with the numerous amounts of information breaches. this is unacceptable. I did not open this account, and Midland Credit has not submitted any evidence of the account belonging to me This is the second account that Midland credit has attempted to say I own. I fought the last one in court, and it was dismissed with prejudice.
