Consumer Complaint: Midland Funding has been attempting to collect on a debt by way of Mail Fraud.I demand they cease and desist all communications in regards to this debt including removing it from my consumer report. I have already identified these items to the NCRA 's and this complaint will serve as notice that by law they have 4 Days to remove any information identified by the consumer as identity theft. XXXX has already removed one of the accounts but I have been met with resistance in a matter that shouldn't be this hard to remedy. If federal laws are not upheld I will initiate the litigation process.

They immediatley say the call is being recorded and when I ask them not to record, they wont. Which in Pennsylvania it is a crime, wire tapping, to record without permission or a warrant. They usually will not identify themselves or the company they are calling from.

Consumer Complaint: I am writing this because XXXX and XXXX Pursant 15usc 1681XXXX ( a ) did not have my written consent to furnish or report anything outside the permissible purpose and they did not send any required disclosures before they reported some negative accounts XXXX XXXX and Midland Funding of {$460.00} to my file. Futhermore, I sent the debt collector ( Midland Funding LLC ) a cease and desist letter certified mail XX/XX/2022 ceasing all communication with me including my consumer report which is considered a medium ; I demanded for deletion for the accounts because them reporting anything is indirect communication. I cc XXXX and XXXX in my letters and sent certified mail on XX/XX/2022 to both agencies. They are very well aware of the cease and desist letter because it was received XXXX XXXX and they are continuing to break the law as it is a violation of my rights as a federally protected consumer. XXXX and XXXX failure to properly investigate.

I informed the original creditor account was fraud on XX/XX/XXXX and they sold the account. I have provided police report of ID theft. I have done everything including disputing with XXXX, XXXXXXXX XXXX and midland collection. I'm done and tired of their fooliness. I don't owe anyone any money. The same has been with XXXX XXXX XXXX I have sent certified letters requesting validation allowing Midland Credit Management to report on my credit report again my rights are being violated XXXX is showing Midland Credit Management as acct # XXXX first they are listed as incomplete acct # which is a violation plus two different acct # for the same account. I feel like I'm powerless can you please help me? By removing this account from my credit report.
