Consumer Complaint: I contacted Midland Credit Management after being served with papers in XXXX for a XXXX XXXX account that is not mine. First the card is in a partial name which I have never gone by since it is not my legal name and secondly I have not resided at the address given. At that time I also was told that I was served with papers for an XXXX home account which is also for that same address. I asked for verification if the debts I received a statement fir the XXXX but nothing for the XXXX account. I asked for a copy of the application which has not been provided. Neither if these accounts are mine and they need to be removed. I spoke with them again today with no resolution.

Consumer Complaint: In XX/XX/XXXX I reviewed my credit reports and saw a collection for {$6200.00} with Midland Funding. I sent a debt validation letter to learn more about the account. I submitted my debt validation letter in XXXX, but Midland Funding responded to my request in XXXX. I worked with someone to help me translate the letter, but was frustrated that they did not contact me in my preferred language. Furthermore, Midland Funding did not provide a final account statement from the original creditor. The debt validation letter shows that the original account is from XXXX but does not provide a final account date, which leaves me without the information I need. The account is past the statute of limitations to collect and the account should also be past the seven-year window to report such debt. This account should be removed from my credit reports.
