Consumer Complaint: Midland credit management Inc is trying to collect a debt that they can not validate as mine. They refuse to provide name of the original creditor etc and are reporting the account as open when it is closed meaning inaccurate information to XXXX and XXXX. The credit amount owed is incorrect and has not been validated. They refuse to provide or show any proof of contract showing tht the debt was ever mine. Id like it to be removed from my credit reports and for the bureaus to delete this from my account

Consumer Complaint: I called Midland Credit Management ( XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, CA XXXX, phone XXXX ) on XX/XX/XXXX, & personally PAID IN FULL {$1300.00} from my checking act, for my delinquent XXXX XXXX BXXXX XXXX XXXX. Afterwards I received MCMs receipt dated XX/XX/XXXX thanking me for my payment & promising to send update to the 3 major consumer reporting agencies as paid. But this act is still listed on credit reports to this day, as charged off, not paid. And is listed with the last pmt to this XXXX act as falsely made way back on XX/XX/XXXX. Thus falsely hurting my credit score significantly. It appears my payment was embezzled, stolen & never applied to my XXXX act. I finally called the company & a foreign-sounding harsh-speaking man informed me that he hadnt had enough time, but would be promptly reporting my pmt soon. But still now in XXXX, nothing reported thus making this derogatory act remaining on my credit reports. Pls help me to get it removed. Thank You in advance!!

Consumer Complaint: Hello, my name is XXXX XXXX, and I'm writing to request your help in contacting this company. I attempted to contact them in order to see why someone had created an account in my name. This is a serious matter, and I'm disappointed that it's now having an effect on my credit score. I do not give anyone permission to use my name, date of birth, or any other personal information since it violates Data Privacy. They must determine who started the account in my name and simply transfer the information to that person. Kindly help me in fixing this issue.

Consumer Complaint: The account in dispute is with XXXX which sold the account to Midland Credit. The settlement was initiated in the amount of {$3000.00}. XXXX received a check # XXXX in the amount of {$3000.00} dated XX/XX/2019 on my behalf from XXXX, XXXX. In the note, it references Account # XXXX CT XXXX. The check ( # XXXX ) was deposited by XXXX on XX/XX/2019. I have a copy of the deposited check that shows proof of payment and deposit. XXXX has refused to acknowledge this payment. I have repeatedly asked XXXX to rectify this matter and they have refused to. Their response is they have to record. XXXX illegally sold this account to Midland Credit. They have continued to report false data. I have repeatedly informed Midland Credit that they are attempting to collect a debt that has been successfully paid. This is having an adverse effect on my credit and both companies refuse to properly reconcile this matter.
