Consumer Complaint: On or around XX/XX/23 I submitted a dispute on a collection debt of {$1200.00} furnished by Midland credit management. I requested information to get a better understanding of this debt and to verify it is, in fact, mine. Instead, I got a message that the debt was validated and a threatening letter from Midland demanding I pay {$1200.00} to stop something they call " the pre-legal process ''. This is in blatant violation of the FDCPA and should not be considered an acceptable response to debt validation/verification by the consumer. I have a right to an accurate credit report.

Consumer Complaint: The two open collections on my credit report are from a company Ive never done business with. Ive never signed any documentation with these companies nor have I ever been in contract with these companies before. These account were charged off by the original companies a few years ago, to my husband loosing employment because of COVID. I have written several cease and desist letters to Midland Credit Management and XXXX XXXX XXXX explaining this to no avail. So I am questing your assistance in this matter, please!

Its been more than 5 months and you have never given me any response to my request to validate the debt and of its origin. I have never given any approval or permission for you to report this account. This is a violation of my rights as a consumer. I will be seeking legal assistance due to noncompliance with 15 U.S. Code 1681 ( e ) ( B ) and Metro 2 Compliance Standards, there are multiple deviations, deficiencies, inaccurate information, and unauthorized information listed on my credit report. Please remove these accounts referenced from my credit report.

I have attempted to explain my federal rights to XXXX who is one of the account managers there. I informed him of 15 USC 1692k & 1692CA as I have never given Midland Credit Management consent to contact me and there is no time to discuss this debt. I also ask Midland Credit Management to cease and desist but wasn't taken seriously as they said they couldn't verify me when I provided my full account number and name. I also am requesting how they have been given my additional information under 15 USC 1692B. I am also requesting a visual contract I have with this company. I look forward to getting this resolved. Consumer Complaint: I have an account on my credit that is currently listed as Midland Funding LLC the original creditor is XXXX XXXX XXXX. I have reached out to the third party company on numerous occasions for a validation of debt with the original signed agreement by me. The credit bureau 's along with the company continues to verify this information as accurate. This debt was also charged off and on my credit the status still says " open ''. Under the FCRA any company that fails to provide this information of validating a debt within 30 days is required to be removed. I am asking for this to be removed from my all three of my credit reports.
