Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX, I started receiving phone calls from various numbers on an almost daily basis. I screen my phone calls so I only answer calls from numbers I know but when I saw a flood of strange numbers, I started using XXXX to identify the numbers. I noticed a pattern of the calls were from Midland Funding, calling under different numbers maybe six or seven different numbers. They never left a message. I know of Midland Funding, what they do, their reputation, etc. I know theyre a company I have no interest in dealing with. Since they never left a message, I have no idea if theyre even calling for me, they could be calling for a prior owner of the phone number. If they are calling for me, I have no interest in doing business with them, no idea of any accounts they could be harassing me over. Furthermore they are in violation of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, 1692g, as many more than five days have passed since their initial XXXX XXXX call and they have not sent me a validation letter, or any letter. I have no idea of an account number attached to this account, if there is one. If they are calling for someone else on my phone number, I expect them to delete this number from their system. The phone number is ( XXXX ) XXXX for them to investigate. If their purpose in calling does involve me, I expect them to close the account in exchange for their violation of the law.

Consumer Complaint: I was notified by Midland Credit management of a debt owed. I mailed out a debt validation letter seeking I owed such debt to this collection agency. Midland Credit Management responded with account summaries and a letter from said original creditor XXXX. I also sent dispute notice to all three credit bureaus and only XXXX has responded to my dispute in which they said it has been verified. The information sent to me has not been enough to validate this as my debt.

Consumer Complaint: A credit card was opened under my name years back with XXXX XXXX XXXX. I only learned of it when it was placed in collections to Midland Funding LLC. I contacted them at XXXX ( XXXX ) XXXX on multiple occasions to inform them that this account was a fraudulent account. In XXXX I called to figure out a way to get the collection off my credit, their solution was to pay {$130.00} and they will remove the collection. I was given a receipt, I was informed that I would receive documentation through the USPS mail. Although the account was fraudulent, I really needed my credit fixed. Out of desperation I gave them my banking information. As of XX/XX/2023, my credit score is heavily compromised by the collection company failing to report. Today I called XXXX ( XXXX ) XXXX ironically the number is no longer a working number. How are people getting away with stealing from hard working individuals. In total I have loss {$130.00} and I have a {$380.00} collection from Midland Funding LLC on my credit report.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX, I received a call from MCM Midland Management LLC. I never authorized MCM to contact me, I did not give MCM this cellphone number nor the creditor whom they are trying to collect for. I do NOT wish to receive harassing phone calls to my cell number/phone. I repeatedly receives phone calls before XXXX XXXX and after XXXX XXXX, I receives repeated calls throughout the day, I have asked them to stop calling the cellphone but they continue to call. This is a new cell phone number. I did not give MCM this cell number nor gave them authorization to call this cell phone number. On XX/XX/XXXX, I asked the Representative where she was calling from '? She played games on the phone not wanting to tell me MCM is Midland Management. When I asked her, " What was MCM contact number ''? She gave me my cell phone number saying it fast so I couldn't understand what numbers she was calling out. Then I realized it was my cellphone number. This is NOT a game. I want the harassing phone calls to STOP. MCM can't prove that I own the debt that they care calling about.
