Consumer Complaint: Hi, On XX/XX/XXXX at XXXX XXXX XXXX I tried to open a discover bank application online and was prompted to call XXXX to " Let 's finish together ''. I was on the phone with XXXX in Utah for 55 minutes. He said that I had an outdated bank profile from XXXX for Discover Bank and he had to correct all of the information in it. I submitted 3 applications online for a discover bank account and none of them were accepted. The latest application # is XXXX. Eventually, he transferred me to XXXX who was very rude and dismissive. I would like for XXXX to review my call with her. She told me that she could not accept the verification code from me that she sent and dismissed me to get my application notarized. When I insisted on using a second phone number she agreed. She should have offered me that option before trying to dismiss me. She continued to be rude, inept, and condescending throughout the call and I had to request her supervisor XXXX. XXXX promised to forward my complaint and have someone call me today. No one called. I don't know if XXXX refused to assist me because of my ethnic accent or if that is just how she treats customers, but this is unacceptable. I have been unable to open a bank account with your company because of this and she wasted a lot of my time. The call time was 1.5 hours when it ended. I want to make a formal complaint and I still need help with setting up a bank account. Thank you

Consumer Complaint: On both XX/XX/XXXX and XXXX of 2021, I submitted three claims involving fraudulent purchases on XXXXXX/XX/XXXX with the same subscription-based price of {$170.00} that I did not make on my phone ( XXXXXX/XX/XXXX ) with XXXX. However, because XXXX failed to recognize that all three transactions were unauthorized, I had to rely on all three credit card companies that the purchases were being charged onto XXXX Discover, XX/XX/XXXX and XXXX XXXX. So far, on XX/XX/XXXX of 2021, XXXX was able to determine that the purchase involving XXXX XXXX was unauthorized. As for XX/XX/XXXX, I don't know what the outcome will be since I have not received any update from them. For Discover, they failed to recognize the transaction as fraudulent on both attempts ( the result for the first attempt was on XX/XX/XXXX after I filed a dispute with them on XX/XX/XXXX and the result for the second attempt was on XX/XX/XXXX after I read the Dispute Result Letter from Discover and have sent them additional documentations on XX/XX/XXXX ). Also on XX/XX/XXXX, I sent them one more evidence telling them that XXXX was able to recognize the transaction as fraudulent that Discover did not and suggest them to look over the previous evidence again to make sure they do not miss any foul play. However, after this, I did not received any response from Discover for five days.

Consumer Complaint: I have been disputing this debt constantly, I've noticed that it still remains only on one credit bureau which is XXXX. I have disputed it from all different aspects just to have it removed. It is not my debt and it is beyond a old debt I have continuously dealt with for years now. I've asked for contracts, verbal consent and still I have only received statements in the mail from Discover. I have asked for any contracts with signature attach to prove this is my debt. I have also sent the credit bureau all of the evidence I have, such as ; XXXX XXXX XXXX different statements with ( XXXX XXXX different balances attached to them as well. One was in the amount of {$5200.00} from XXXX. Second statement amount was from XXXX in the amount of {$6800.00}. Third statement was in XXXX at {$7500.00}. This alone would make most question the validity of this debt, and especially when it isn't your debt. I am still awaiting evidence that says I am responsible for this debt. Also the statues of limitation has expired on this debt that pertains to the state laws in GA. It says this account was opened in XXXX. Discover continues to send letters stating that they were provided with name, address, and other identifying information. I have yet to see any of this identifiable information, contracts etc. Please HELP!

Consumer Complaint: I applied for A discover credit card in XX/XX/2021. I received a not telling me that I would receive an envelope in the mail in 7-10 days and I can check my status on the website. I submitted extra documents on the website and my status was pending. After a month I went to log onto the website and it says my application can not be found. This is disturbing because I submitted the additional documents they requested and they placed a hard inquiry on my credit report. I called an tried to resolve this in XX/XX/2021 and they told me there is nothing they can do and I should call credit bureau individually. I explained this does not makes sense as I turned in the additional documents and you all placed a hard inquiry on my account. Please help me resolve this and have them remove the inquiry they placed or finish processing my application.

I also filed a police report to put on the affidavit. In fact, I called Discover to help me with filling it out. Discover is now informing me that the affidavit was improperly filled out because too many things were initialed. I very honestly filled this out and even asked for assistance.

Consumer Complaint: I ordered a shirt from a small online store XXXX. It did not ship for month due it being on backorder which I was fine with. A month later I had forgotten about it however and apparently around that time it was marked as delivered by XXXX " in/at mailbox '' but I never received anything. While watching one of their videos about another month after I remembered I ordered the shirt and contacted them to see if they could send a replacement as I never received my order. They stated they could only see that it's marked as deliver and to contact the local post office and/or check in with neighbors to see if they have it. The post office of course just says delivered and since I live in a very urban area of course neighbors aren't possible to get in touch with or they don't really care about it. I then proceeded to issue a dispute with my CC and it was only until then they say " we want you to have the best possible purchasing experience, and would be willing to make a one-time exception for you. In order to do this, we ask that you please close the credit card dispute that is currently open. We greatly appreciate your support and we are awaiting your reply. Thank you. '' If they had offered a replacement right away I would have been happy to accept as I still supported them and the work they do, but after this experience even though the quality of their videos is amazing their store experience is lackluster.
