Consumer Complaint: As of XX/XX/2020 company has reported a charge off as a bad debt, thus damaging my credit report. I previously reached out to company to inform them that I do not owe any debt and any attempt to collect a debt from me or damage my report would be fraudulent in nature and according to the FDCPA I am the consumer pursuant 15 USC 1692, and I do NOT owe any debt. According to the Truth In Lending Act ( TILA ) pursuant 15 USC 1602 ( l ) a " credit card '' is defined & the " social security card '' is validated as a " credit card '' I have never provided my social security number or card for any line of credit from this company, and even if I did, I am an administer agent pursuant 15 USC 1602 and upon the request of the Social Security Administration I am to immediately return the Social Security Card, therefore I do NOT owe any debt attached to the card pursuant 18 USC 8. This company has refused to validate any debt owed by investigating family, associates, and/or neighbors pursuant 15 USC 1681 ( a-e ).

Consumer Complaint: I ordered a discover card on XX/XX/XXXX, it never arrived. I became aware that the card had been nearly maxed out. I contacted Discover and was advised that I needn't worry, they would cancel the card and the charges, issue a new card, and that I " definitely won't have to pay for those charges. '' 4 months later, the charge is back on my account, the " investigation '' determined that since the charges were within a certain radius of my home ( a radius in which over 9 million people live ), and since the card was activated, the charges are my responsibility. I have repeatedly attempted to get the investigation team to tell me exactly what information they want me to provide them in order to prove I had nothing to do with this, and I have followed their suggestions to the best of my ability, but they refuse to even reopen the dispute at this point. I have filed a police report, a report with XXXX, since it was stolen from the mail, I filed an incident report with the XXXX, I obtained and provided copies of my phone records to show that I didn't activate the card. I have sent them copies of my XXXXXXXX XXXX timeline showing I was not in the area of the retailers where the charges were made on the days in question, I have called them multiple times to attempt to resolve the issue and sent them a great deal of corroborating documentation. They refuse to reconsider their erroneous finding.
