Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2021, XXXX charged my Discover credit card by {$41.00} automatically for subscription. I dont want this item so I returned it once I receive the item and expected a refund like usual. However, Discover failed to process the refund. The balance stayed on my discover account. I didnt receive any notice from Discover about this balance that I dont realize at all. I got the late payment reported to the credit bureaus by Discover. Once I found out my credit score drop dramatically I realized the amount and paid immediately. And I reached out XXXX they tried again and refunded me on XXXX. I tried to work with Discover to revert the miss payment report. But they refused. There are two reasons that I believe they should help to remove this record : 1. I received no notice of the amount from Discover 2. The delay of refund from XXXX failed to process in Discover and I am not responsible for the balance Thank you for helping to investigating the issue! I am very appreciated!

Consumer Complaint: Received this notification from Discover Bank that I have an option to limit my privacy from Discover by calling their customer service at XXXX XXXX. I called Discover and asked them to limit my sharing with other affiliates. The respondent asked me an entourage of questions - My social security number, my verbal password, mother 's maiden name and then my name. She said that I have been opted out of Discover bank sharing my information with its affiliates but refused to provide me any kind of confirmation. Please see the notice attached. Now tomorrow if Discover do share my information I have no proof that I called them to discontinue sharing my information and this is bizarre and a fraud.

Consumer Complaint: Due to the pandemic issue, On or about XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX, I have some problem making payment on my Discover Credit card. I called the bank that I want to consolidate my debts. I was making payment through a debt consolidation company. I Informed the bank and gave the phone number to them to make sure that I still making the minimum payment through a debt consolidation company. I had making consistent monthly payment through the debt consolidation company in XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX. However, in the month of XXXX, I found out that the debt consolidation company failed to pay my credit card. I then immediately called the Discover Bank to resume and make up all of my payments. My monthly minimum payment is {$80.00} per month. But I made double payment to make my account current. My payments are as follows : 1. XX/XX/XXXX, Paid {$250.00} 2. XX/XX/XXXX, Paid {$250.00} 3. XX/XX/XXXX, paid {$150.00} XXXX. XX/XX/XXXX, paid {$200.00} 5. XX/XX/XXXX, paid {$150.00} 6. XX/XX/XXXX, paid {$150.00} On XX/XX/XXXX, I have received an email from the Discover Bank stating that they couldn't located my account. When I called to talk to the Discover Bank, ( With Mr. XXXX ) he simply informed me that my account was restricted and being sent to a debt collection company by the name Wicker and Associate. All my payments since XX/XX/XXXX to XX/XX/XXXX were cashed by the Discover Bank. These amount of money were not credited to my account at all. When I checked with my bank XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, all checked were cashed by the Discover Bank. I requested for a refund and they refused to refund the money back to me. Instead, Discover Bank had filed a litigation claimed in court against me. This is completely an unfair practices. I have consistently paid all my monthly payments.

Consumer Complaint: Every month, I pay off my balance in full, but I forgot to make a payment this month. As a result, I was charged a {$29.00} Past Due fee by XXXX on XX/XX/2021 and then assessed {$1.00} in interest on XX/XX/2021. However, XXXX 's ONLY communication with me alerting me that I missed a payment came on XX/XX/2021. Immediately upon discovering my XXXX account was past due on XX/XX/2021, I immediately called XXXX to address the issue. They offered to waive the {$29.00} past due fee, but they declined to waive the 16.99 % penalty interest that was incurred from this late payment and upon payment in full of my balance, XXXX said they would keep the penalty 16.99 % APR indefinitely ( as opposed to the 11.99 % that was on my account prior ). I believe it is an UDAAP violation to wait 9 days ( XXXX ) after charging me a late fee until notifying me that I missed a payment. The fact that they let an extra 9 days of interest accrue before alerting me of the missed payment and then refused to waive the interest is particularly galling.

Consumer Complaint: I have a DISCOVER ( xxxxxxxxxxxx XXXX ) account reporting on my credit report that is a fraudulent account and is not mine. After sending correspondence letters to discover asking them to verify the accounts i received a letter of deletion from in XX/XX/2020 not knowing that they had created new account numbers and reinserted this account on my credit report they have done this several times now after not being able to verify this account please review my credit reports to see this information i also filled a FTC report and sent it to them which they refuse to acknowledge. Also they have different account balances owed on my credit reports please remove these account with inaccurate information and review the reports for this incorrect information. This account is reporting as negative and is stopping me from getting a mortgage
