Consumer Complaint: Discover Card has handed my fraudulent identity theft case over to XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX to sue me over a credit card that I never opened, never authorized to be opened, never used to charge anything, and never paid for. I am being harassed by this law firm in Kentucky and am to appear in court on XX/XX/2021 for an account that is fraudulent. I have written to them, filed disputes numerous times thru the XXXX credit reporting companies, with Discover Card themselves, and with their prior law firm XXXX in XXXX XXXX Florida. This needs to stop!

Consumer Complaint: On or around XX/XX/XXXX I started to receive harassing phone calls and letters from numerous credit card collection agencies about a dozen or more credit cards that were illegally opened in my name starting back in XXXX thru XXXX. I disputed all of them thru XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX and all but Discover Bank have investigated and confirmed that it was a true case of Identity Theft and removed them from my credit report. All except for Discover Bank. I continue to get hauled into court beginning in XXXX and the case continues to drag on and cause me medical issues. There is no stopping these people and they continue to harass me.

Consumer Complaint: I was just made aware Discover Bank closed two of my checking accounts, I was told was due to an overdraft fee in one, that I was unaware of, as well as not informed. I was not informed ( I did not receive an email, mail, a message through there Secure Message Center or a phone call ) of my accounts closure as well as why my account was overdrawn. I was unable to resolve the matter after being on the phone for an hour and 40 minutes speaking to several supervisors. I still have not received any documentation of this matter. One checking account had over {$100.00}, I was told by, the supervisors, that there was an overdraft balance in another account. The bank used the account with money to resolve the balance. I was not aware of a balance and I did not overdraft my account. I was told my account was previously closed and the supervisor XXXX told me that they do not have records of sending me notice through email or their secure message center.

Consumer Complaint: On XXXX XXXX someone stole and used my discover card in a casino, I reported it as fraud but have been charged the entire amount on my card causing it to overdraw, max out and ruin my credit. {$2400.00}!!! was added to the account.My rights were violated by the Fair Credit Billing Act, FTC.I should have been charged a maximum of $ XXXX spoke to several people.XXXX told me my case was closed and there was nothing else he could do and XXXX, wouldn't give last name, spoke to him XXXX XXXX a supervisor, said would open case with new info, which I provided and possible scenario of what might have happened .No adjustments to account just overdrawn balance and many fees.Please Help, their XXXX fraud liability has not been applied to me.Also, someone could easily get my pin, just pretend to be me and giving them the info off my card and you enter the number yourself, fraud dept. should know this info already.Also, I don't want to file a police report to get my credit reversed, I feel like I'm being bullied.

I learned my rights and pointed out to them violations and informed them I wanted to exercise my right to rescind because of the unfair and deceptive actions they have taken against me. Discover was sending me statements saying I owe a debt and took part in unauthorized use of my credit card. Without my written consent gave my information to credit reporting agencies and wont delete my information from those agencies or there system. They informed me that by law they have to keep my information and credit card on file. Thank you for your time in this matter.

Consumer Complaint: Discover 's fraud department had credited {$3900.00} during the monthly statement of XX/XX/XXXX- XX/XX/XXXX. The balance as of todays date still does not reflect the credit for the fraud and or unauthorized transactions. We refuse to pay for transactions that were not authorized by us, nor made by us and never benefited from those fraud and or unauthorized transactions. The Discover account needs to be properly credited from those fraud and or unauthorized transactions plus any fees associated with those transactions and any interest that Discover had applied. I've contacted the fraud department several times and even 6 years later, the dispute has not been fully resolved. The most recent contact with Discover was in XXXX XXXX. I spoke with XXXX in the Discover Charge Off Department explaining that the entire balance Due is of Fraud and or Unauthorized charges/transactions. I explained to XXXX that the fraud department has been negligent to properly credit all fraud and or unauthorized transactions. That I have been dealing with the fraud department for years and will no longer contact them since they aren't doing their job. I also explained that we will not pay for any charges/transactions that we did not authorize, nor make and most certainly didn't benefit from. As of XX/XX/XXXX, there has been absolutely no contact from Discover from my call in XX/XX/XXXX.
