Consumer Complaint: complaint reference code XXXX discover checking account was blocked every time I tried to transfer funds from/to one of the previously linked checking or saving account to the discover XXXX or a real checking account Discover does not offer any real checking account, since a real checking account should be able to send and receive funds transfers from previusly linked external checking/saving accounts without a account block after each transaction The entire web internet is currently making fun of them since discover block/freezes the discover checking account if 1 there is a funds transfer credit, started from a previously linked external checking/saving account registered under the same name 2 there is a funds transfer debit, started from a previously linked external checking/saving account registered under the same name 3 there is a funds transfer credit, started from discover and pulled from the previusly linked checking/saving registered under the same name 4 there is a funds transfer debit, started from discover and pushed to the previusly linked checking/saving registered under the same name 5 if a customer does not use the debit card for a certain period of time and suddently starts tto use the debit card also for low amounts, then again discover blocks the checking account The bank is not normal, they even have a separate page were customer can upload the document id to confirm identity unlimited times and they name the page " secure page or secure upload or whatever '' I have uploaded my document id twice already t The first time they unblocked the checking account, but the account was blocked again when I tried to deposit funds to discover with a funds transfer from a previously linked checking/saving account registered under the same same, my name, as indicated above The banks need to make up their minds they have to decide if they want to operate n the internet or if are unable to operate on the web, they should work put the web only, offline, they don't have the permission to waste customers valuable time, with their strange procedures The result of their strange procedures can be found on the internet, the entire web is making fun of the so called bank The checking accounts was probably closed without notice, not even a simple email, maybe they are unable to type a email, because they need the help of the hight tech technology, the nasa, to be able to send email notifications I had funds in the checking account that were not refunded perhaps, they still trying to send a sms to the email adress registered on the discover checking account? good luck I will tell to each person that I know. that discover blocks checking accounts With no real reason

Consumer Complaint: Discover bank caused me to have a nosebleed at work today. Let me explain, it all started last night I was going to set up an account @ their Bank. But the only person I was ever able to speak to you with this same one mindless corporate drone. Absolutely insistent certain things just had to be done online. She caused me to have a XXXX she stressed me out so much. I havent been having very many XXXX since I moved I have an abusive situation with my parents. Theyve actually become quite rare, In a negative sort of way this is sort of impressive. And because I had one XXXX last night ; And if having another one at work in the course of trying to do my job. Had to interrupt work on the clock to take care of it & ruined a kn95 mask

Consumer Complaint: Discover credit card offered me a 0.0 % balance transfer or 12months, I transferred {$2000.00} and paid {$60.00} in transfer fee XX/XX/2021. Discover is now asking me to pay in full in a month, by XX/XX/XXXX or they will apply interest charge of 22.99 %. I chatted with two different reps. and they both telling me the same thing. I paid the {$60.00} transfer fee thinking I have 12months to pay off my {$2000.00} little by little with 0.0 % interest as advertised instead, Discover is demanding me to pay the {$2000.00} within a month while they keep the {$60.00} fee I gave them. Why can't i pay just the new purchases portion in full and keep the {$2000.00} balance transfer promo and not have to pay interest?

Consumer Complaint: My dispute with Discover Card accounting practices for unrecognized charges of $ XXXXand {$12.00} for XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX respectively. These charges were reported after my cancelation of my my auto insurance policies insurance. Unfortunately, my communication with credit bureau reporting agencies concerning my dispute are yet to produce understandable conclusion. The latest statements received dated from XXXX showed a new balance of {$200.00} ; whereas the statement dated from XXXX a new balance of {$350.00}, ... as if we don't have enough mixing up matters, as XXXX kept adding unrecognized charges to these ones- already disputed and done with, earlier. XXXX still adding interest, to be paid for unrecognized transactions. My credit standing is threatened. Please be advised that I have always paid my bills in full, and in advance. Currently, I was threatened to pay interest on the disputed transactions. PS : My Credit Card Number indicated is the one canceled few months, while another number ending in XXXX was compromised and deleted, much earlier. Both credit number were mixed up with Discover Card statements. I'm a XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX ( XXXX XXXX XXXX ).

Consumer Complaint: In XXXX of 2021, I found out that a former tenant had stolen my identity. I discovered this during the eviction process & after reviewing my entire credit report. There was a Discover loan account opened up in my name. I immediately notified Discovers fraud unit and also provided them with my Police report, FTC report, Drivers license, and a utility bill. Ive been in contact with several people at Discover ( XXXX, XXXX, XXXX ID # XXXX ). XXXX informed me that Discover was mailing the fraud packet to the wrong address although my address is clearly written on all my correspondence to the company. Discover continues to affirm the accounts. I do not know what more I can do aside from filing a lawsuit against the company.

Consumer Complaint: I have had this account on auto pay from the first month I had it. They took out a payment of {$61.00} on XX/XX/XXXX as normal. Then there was no payment taken out on XXXX or XXXX that I didn't notice. They called me in XXXX and asked for me to catch up. There is no evidence of them trying to take out the payments from XXXX or XXXX. So there were no bounced payments. I paid {$180.00} on XX/XX/XXXX by phone. They took out {$94.00} automatically again on XX/XX/XXXX. I asked for them to remove the late payments from my credit they said they could not because they were reported accurately. This was an internal error at Discover Card it was not a mistake by my hand. Please help.

Consumer Complaint: my rights have been violated according to the FDCPA, 15 usc 1692. As the original creditor and natural person i did not give this company permission to report any of my personal information to any consumer reporting agencies. According to 15 usc 1692d ( a ) ( 2 ), a company can not report anything negative to my consumer report that will ruin my reputation. The FCRA, 15 usc 1681, states our consumer reports represent us. Therefore, they are ruining my reputation. 15 usc 1666 they can not report alleged late payments to my consumer report. These alleged late payments have not been validated, according to 15 usc 1692g it has to be validated for it to be put on a consumer report.
