Consumer Complaint: Dear CFPB, Some of the questions on the forms- they ask if I tried to fix the problem with the Company! Yes! Yes! I have done so much to straighten these matters out with the Companies! So many Phone Calls! So many E-Mails! And Paper Mails! AN ENORMOUS AMOUNT OF PROBLEMS - seems - to have started when something went wrong with 1 accountatXXXX! It was aCheckingAccnt. I was using that accountto make automatic payments to a lot of Credit Card Companies. When something went wrong with thatcheckingaccountatXXXX- it caused things to go wrong with payments to Credit Card Companies! Then - that caused Credit Card Companies to start sending false info to my files at Credit Bureaus! Then - that caused those Credit Bureaus to send false info about me to a lot more Companies! Maybe all over Corporate America? How many Companies??? Strange thing- if somethinggoes wrong with 1 account- if it is acheckingaccount- it can spread a lot of problems to a lot of companies! I have done so - SO MUCH totry to getthese things straightened out withCompanies! And I gave the XXXX XXXX a back-up checkingaccount number that they can use until the primary checking account is fixed! I will file a more detailed complaintwhen I have more time & more energy! There R so many more details to write about! When I have better health!

Consumer Complaint: Several Credit cards were stolen in 2017 including Discover. I filed sheriffs reports regarding the credit card theft together with theft from my rural mailbox. I notified Discover who denies to this date. I have repeatedly sent all information including sheriffs reports and arrest information on the person who impersonated and falsely pretended to Discover. But Discover continues to ignore and deny. The credit card limit was {$7700.00} and Discover even allowed the thief to exceed the limit to {$12000.00}. Discover continues to adversely report and now adds insult to injury. See attached 1099. Discover charged off and I gave up and decided to wait for Discover to fall off my report on its own. But now Discover is claiming I benefited from the theft when I received {$0.00} benefit or anything for all the fraudulent purchases. This is wrong and now burdens me with more work. In addition to complaints I now have to file the necessary IRS forms to deny the fraudulent 1099.

Consumer Complaint: I am having a identity theft issue that I am not able to resolve directly with the credit reporting agencies or the companies. I have decided to file complaint for myself in hopes that the back and forth ends here. I have already open a case with the US Federal Courts to assist me with the suffering this has caused. I had to do my own research into the matter and I find that the credit reporting agencies reporting fraudulent accounts to my credit file without my permission is a consumer law violation per 15 USC 1681 ( b ). DISCOVER is a inaccurate account on my credit file and is not mine.
