Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX, I was charged for {$29000.00} from XXXX XXXX XXXX. I called discover immediately because charge was only supposed to be {$20000.00}. They issued me a provisional credit of {$20000.00} when they investigated the issue. On XX/XX/XXXX, they reversed provisional credit. They provided me documents that were " support documents '' from XXXX. The support documents had my signature on a bill of lading which just list my detailed goods. This was the only document they had that had a signature. None of the documents had my signature on an authorization to charge card or authorize any payment amount. I called discover on XX/XX/XXXX and the representative didn't understand why it rejected either and escalated it to her " XXXX ''. I called again on XX/XX/XXXX and they said no one ever put another case in so they did it again at that time. I called on XX/XX/XXXX to check status and they had no explanation why they were accepting the fraudulent charge.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2022 I opened an Online Savings and Money Market account with Discover Bank after receiving an offer via my credit card ( also with Discover ) for a quite high APR on the account. The account opening process went well, but when I tried to fund the account using my external bank account with XXXX the system locked me out and forced me to contact Discover for assistance. Discover 's customer service truly leaves a lot to be desired despite their constant reminders that " they're rated # 1and US based ''. After speaking to several people- all o whom gave me a different story - my account STILL hadn't been unlocked AND I was informed that XXXX is not an " allowed '' bank for me to send/receive money from. I asked who these magnificent banks are that are " allowed '' to be used to fund an account or transfer funds to, but the representatives were unable to answer that question. They were also unable to answer any question with a straight answer. The account remains open and Discover emails me constantly telling me I must fund the account, however they still have my online access suspended and apparently my primary bank - XXXX - is not to be trusted according to their rocket scientist customer service agents. I requested a supervisor call back, but - not surprisingly - did not receive one. Discover Bank SHOULD NOT be allowed to conduct banking operations if their representatives are so grossly incompetent and misinformed.

Consumer Complaint: I filed a claim for several unauthorized charges on my Discover card about 60 days ago, they have treated more like a criminal. Interrogating over and over. They credited my account and sent me an affidavit to sign after almost 45 days, then they called and said the affidavit was not signed by and they would send another one again. Every time they send one they tell its 7-10 days to get it but instead its about 2 weeks. Till now I have not refined the second affidavit, my account is closed they have refused to reopen it even tho I kept my account in excellent standing. This has been a grueling process, the charges are completely fraudulent and that was easy to prove but for them to advertise 0 liability for fraud and then make a customer to go through this is absolutely ridiculous.
