Consumer Complaint: Hello, Ive been dealing with Discover since 2021. I lost my job and was a college student at that time so I had no time to work. Consumer Complaint: I opened a secured card with Discover ( it ) with a XXXX deposit. Six days later I called and told Discover to cancel the account and return the XXXX. I had not received the card in the mail so never used the card. The funds were made from my bank via Savings account ( pic attached ) on XX/XX/XXXX. I cancelled the account on XX/XX/XXXX I was told they could only return the deposit via a check. It's 6 weeks later, I have called at least 7 times requesting my money be returned. Card was never activated and account closed on XX/XX/XXXX. Each time I call I'm told something vague and different from call before. On XX/XX/XXXX I spoke with " billing '' XXXX was told. The lady apologized for my frustration and said she would send a " request '' to have the XXXX put back into my account electronically. She said this would take 48 hours but could be as much as 3-5 days. I gave her my checking account number and routing number. I called on XX/XX/XXXX and spoke with a lady in billing, again, and she told me they never send money back via auto deposit. She said to wait XXXX days. I called again this morning and it was same type call. Absolutely no info on when my money will be returned. I live on a fixed income, Social Security. I need this money, my money, returned asap. Thank you.

Consumer Complaint: I have the discover app on my phone. I set up notifications and enabled my fingerprint for convenience. Everytime I go to login and double check activity usage, my balance, pay my balance and XXXX, the app tells me my password is incorrect and shuts me out. Its a whole 30 min process that I don't always have time for. I've had this account since XXXX and this is my experience 90 % of the time. I tried emailing someone to try and get a resolution but the website says to login to get more contact information. I'm frustrated and worried with the lack of access I have to my account. I can't ensure my balance isn't negatively affecting my score nor keep an eye out for unusual activity.

Consumer Complaint: XX/XX/XXXX Hello, It has come to my attention that the data furnished by Discover Bank is inconsistent and not congruent across all credit bureaus, resulting in an inaccurate representation of my credit profile. All data that is reported should be congruent and align with each other across the bureaus and reporting agencies. Since the data being furnished is not congruent and does not line up I DEMAND THE REMOVAL of this erroneous information from my credit profile, as it is tarnishing my credit history unjustly. As seen below the supporting documents show inaccurate and not congruent payment history/status of this account. For XX/XX/XXXX one bureau ( XXXX ) is reporting a payment versus the other bureau ( XXXX ) is reporting a CO status. This incorrect date and error is confusing me and hindering my financial status! Again since the furnished data is not congruent and there is an error with the reporting information this account MUST BE DELETED. This letter serves as my last and final warning regarding the inaccuracies in my credit report before LEGAL LAWSUIT ACTIONS are taken.

Consumer Complaint: Discover said " Customers who are experiencing financial difficulty caused by the spread of the COVID-19 [ virus ] may receive assistance that can include support related to payment timing, fees and late payments, '' Discover tells XXXX via email. Relief may include what the issuer calls " skip-a-pay payments, '' which are the same as deferred payments ; these allow qualified cardholders to miss payments for a time without negatively impacting their credit. '' I had a hardship on my account due to COVID. I no longer owe Discover any money, yet I am still being penalized.
