Subissue: Reporting company used your report improperly
Consumer Complaint: 15USC 1681 a ( d ) ( 2 ] ( A ) ( i ) clearly states that transactions between the consumer and the Person/Corporation making the report is NOT included on the consumer reports. Yet XXXX XXXX and XXXX is reporting this information.. The reporting of excluded information pursuant to 15USC 1681 a ( d ) ( 2 ) ( A ) ( i ) on a consumer report is a clear violation of XXXX compliance. Provide me with the XXXX compliance disclosure on reporting transactions to a consumer reporting agency. I need the transactions reporting as late, collection/charge-off status and any other derogatory information deleted from my consumer reports effective immediately. Before you think to reply that this account has been " validated '', let 's be clear that I am not asking you to validate or verify anything. So please do not respond by telling me that as a tactic to waste my valuable time. Some of the negative accounts have been placed in Collection/Charge-Off Status WITHOUT mailing me a copy of IRS form 1099-C Cancellation of Debt. XXXX and the creditors reporting collections/Charge-Offs, late payments/other derogatory information in my consumer reports are in violation of 26 USC ss 6050P Returns Relating to the Cancellation of Indebtedness By Certain Entities. If this derogatory account information is not deleted from my consumer reports within 30 days, I will be forced to officially file IRS form 3949A : Information Referral AND IRS form 211 : Application For Award For Original Information Overview with the Internal Revenue Service against ALL entities involved.

Consumer Complaint: -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -UPDATE TO CLAIM # -- - XXXX -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- On XX/XX/2023 I entered into a consumer credit transaction with DISCOVER for an extension of my own credit in the amount of {$25000.00} where DISCOVER acquired my credit card as defined under 15 USC 1602 to conduct a Finance Charge via a negotiable instrument application and has denied my own extended credit and RIGHT as stated under 15 USC 1691a. DISCOVER has now obtained my personal identifying information for purposes I am unaware of and are now in direct violation under 15 USC 1681q. DISCOVER states that I have read the agreement and gave consent to DISCOVER to furnish on my consumer report. THIS HAS NOTHING TO WITH DISCOVER AND MY CONSUMER REPORT. DISCOVER has DISCRIMINATED against me by denying me my RIGHT TO CREDIT IN COMMERCE and have even insulted me by blatantly reciting the ECOA provision they willfully violated where it states " The federal Equal Credit Opportunity Act prohibits creditors from discriminating against credit applicants ... .or because the applicant has in good faith exercised any right under the Consumer Credit Protection Act. I HAVE EXERCISED MY RIGHT TO CREDIT AND INSTEAD HAVE BEEN ABUSED< DISCRIMINATED AND INSULTED BY DISCOVER. AND HAVE BEEN DISCOURAGED TO EXTEND FURTHER CREDIT IN THE BANKING SYSTEM AND HAVE LOST CONFIDENCE IN THE BANKING SYSTEM

Consumer Complaint: A credit card was taken with a credit limit of {$12000.00}. After months of using the card and developing a balance of around {$5400.00}, the card was stopped being used, as the card was at a 44 % usage limit, and we did not want the cards usage limit to affect our credit scores by maxing it out and showing irresponsibility. I logged onto my credit card app to pay the bill, and I noticed the card company had lowered the credit limit to {$5500.00}. Leaving me a credit limit of only {$100.00}, and essentially forcing the usage limit to now 100 %, causing a nose-dive in my credit score. There was no notification that the limit on my card was being lowered. No letter, no notification, no communication from the credit card company. No bills have ever been missed or unpaid. This is not allowable. Credit card companies are not allowed to perform actions that cause bad credit on customers who have never defaulted on their payments. If you offer me a card with a specific credit limit, it is my choice how that credit gets used, as it was also my choice to participate in accepting the credit card. This action is going to hurt my credit score and prevent further use of my credit rating to aquire future credit. Changing my credit card limit without any notification to automatically max out my credit card when I specifically chose to keep it at 44 % usage is not legal.

Consumer Complaint: Discover has been playing games with my money for nearly a year now. I have spent 9 months on a dispute that clearly should have been decided in my favor. Even after providing the required documentation, they keep saying someone is looking into it, but nothing is happening and they owe me {$310.00} plus 9 months of interest. This kind of thing is resolved in 5 minutes with XXXX!

Consumer Complaint: The statements that are currently are an issue are as follows XX/XX/XXXX {$500.00} XXXX {$1500.00} XXXX {$3000.00} XXXXXXXX XX/XX/XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX {$50.00} XXXX {$1000.00}. The actions I took were reporting IMMEDIATELY after receiving notification of these charges occurring. I have been battling an uphill battle proving my identity and trying to prevent these charges from occurring since losing my laptop on vacation while in XXXX. The laptop was stolen while I was snorkeling which contained ALL of mu information from bank statements pending job applications with my social security number card information etc and ever since, there were unauthorized logins to my XXXX which has since been resolved my bank account, credit card accounts, email, XXXX and the list goes on. Unfortunately, all of my passwords were the same along with the same email ( I have since most definitely learned my lesson and changed all of my passwords ) however, the charges started to roll in shortly after this. Even before getting back into the United States, my bank account was breached with wire transfers going to the XXXX Police and after a few card transfers XXXX had me switch my bank to a new bank account. The charges did not stop, loan applications were made in my name, even more charges kept happening and I was continuously putting out wild fire after wild fire until the beginning of XXXX. I had took my phone to a XXXX XXXX employee and explained what was happening as it was a last resort and recommended by a very helpful woman from XXXX fraud department. The XXXX XXXX employee was able to find 2 files on my cell phone under the root storage file that ended in XXXX and XXXX which he stated are used by hackers to mirror my device onto an external device and control it via a separate electronic device. I work 12.5 hour shifts on a military base and am unable to be around my phone so this access would go unnoticed very easily. Ever since the XXXX XXXX employee did what he did, not a single unauthorized transaction has occurred on any of mu cards. The problem appears to have been fixed however, I am still taking precautionary measures and limiting the amount of use my cards receive on online purchases as well as locking the cards after each use. All other companies have resolved my fraud issues the only one who has not is Discover.

Consumer Complaint: In XX/XX/2022 I order a refrigerator repair from XXXX and placed the charge on my Discover card. The repair man said once the parts arrived I could call and reset the repair date. As as a result of almost 20 calls to the XXXX XXXX XXXX in the XXXX and endless routing from one person to another I cancelled the repair order and the monthly warranty insurance as well. After 7 months of going back an forward disputing this charge and sending proof of the parts delivery. Discover allowed for XXXX to bill my account for {$180.00} an amount which is not specified on the work order I signed. XXXX did not do the repair. I paid another company {$700.00} to repair the refrigerator. All of the labor cost listed on the receipt pertain to replacing the compressor which XXXX did not do. Discover refuses to remove this charge. There is no justification for Discover to allow this company to charge an amount I never agreed to to pay.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX23 a wire transfer in the amount of {$13000.00} was sent to XXXX Discover Bank savings account. Below is the wire information. It has been 8 days and all discover says is that the wire was rejected and return yet no funds have been credited to the senders account. This is ridiculous how they can keep and play with other peoples money and not suffer any repercussions. When one sends a wire the money is deducted from the account immediately yet they keep it for as long as they wish when its to be returned.
