Consumer Complaint: Greetings in advance, my XXXX is a little bad but I will try to write the best, months ago I started buying XXXX XXXX on Coinbase everything was going well until I noticed that they restricted my account, they do not let me send or withdraw my XXXX XXXX nor convert them to dollars to return them to my bank, I need help since the support does not give me a reason or cause for this restriction and they only tell me to wait without giving me time frames, and I have noticed in many internet forums that this Coinbase company has many similar problems Help me, please, I have had my money withheld for 2 months now, it is my money, I am within my rights to have it returned to me, thank you!

Consumer Complaint: Coinbase delisted XXXX. I am XXXX retired and paid {$5000.00} and today it would be worth about {$650.00} but it got delisted and now I am told it is lost on the blockchain and that it is worthless. I want someone to find it and convert it to XXXX. It should never be worth nothing. This feels like a scam!!! Back on XX/XX/2023 I sent XXXX XXXX from Coinbase to my friends wallet registered with XXXX. He has been trying to find out from XXXX why he did not receive it. Coinbase responds with Thanks for getting in touch regarding your recent transaction. Im happy to provide you with some information that will help you to locate the funds you sent. After reviewing your account, I can see the funds have been successfully sent out of your Coinbase account. You can verify this on the block explorer, which is a record of all crypto transactions : XXXX If youre having trouble locating the funds, here are some details to check using the link above : - Ensure you sent funds to the correct address- Ensure you sent funds on the correct network- Ensure you, or the person you sent to, are able to access the wallet where the funds were sent If you sent funds to the wrong address, you will need to contact the receiving party and ask for their cooperation in returning the funds. If you do not know the owner of the address, then there are no other available actions that can be taken to retrieve those funds due to the irreversible nature of cryptocurrency transactions. If you are having trouble locating funds sent to a site outside of Coinbase, I recommend reaching out to the support team of that site so they can help you to gain access to the account and locate the funds. On XX/XX/XXXX, the blockchain gaming startup will send current holders an updated version of its native token, XXXX XXXX, through an airdrop. But there's a catch : the biggest cryptocurrency exchange, Coinbase, has said it won't accept the upgrade and will stop trading the current token ( XXXX XXXX ) on XX/XX/XXXX. '' https : XXXX XXXX. After the XXXX of XXXX, the old token XXXX XXXXXXXX is useless and discredited. This means that even if you've sent the XXXX XXXX tokens to the XXXX wallet, we can no longer receive them, as they are delisted and disabled. They can not be converted to the XXXX XXXX tokens either, as we are not responsible for the switch. This is done on the blockchain level. That being said, the funds sent three months after this replacement are without any value or capacity to be received. Hence, they are gone, unfortunately. Again, we would like to emphasise that we do not have any capability to impact the blockchain level ; therefore, there is nothing we can do. Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2023 they restricted my account, I can see my balance, but I can not send or receive or operate with my cryptocurrencies. After contacting them numerous times through the support chat, they ask me for documentation to verify my account and thus remove the block. On XX/XX/XXXX, I received and sent the requested documentation, all of which requested " Please provide one of the following documents : Payslip issued within the last 3 months Letter from your Human Resources department confirming your employment Provide the source/origin of funds deposited into your Coinbase account. Please provide one of the following documents : Loan agreement or statement Statement from other exchanges Screenshot of transactions from an unhosted wallet In addition to the above, please provide one bank statement, issued within the last four months. Provide the primary source ( s ) through which your overall wealth/net worth was generated. Examples : Employment, gambling, gifting, investments, inheritance, or life insurance Please provide one of the following documents : Payslip Brokerage / investment statement Home sale document Probate or conveyancing document Copy of Will, Grant of Probate, Gift Letter, etc. If your source of wealth originated from investing in crypto or other investments, please provide additional supporting documentation showing the initial investments resulting in your wealth. For example, statements from a crypto exchange or broker-dealer which confirms your investment portfolio and they don't give any response. '' after insisting again and again in the chat they sent me another email on XXXX they asked me for more documentation they wrote me this : '' XXXX XXXX XXXX, Thanks for the information you provided. Unfortunately, it doesn't meet our requirements, so we'll need some additional information to finish reviewing your account. Please upload the following documents to our secure Coinbase SendSafely portal using the link provided below. Please provide a payslip for theBrintza s.l company. Please confirm, how much crypto do you expect to trade per year? e.g : {$10000.00} - {$99000.00} " which sent the documentation and I responded to what was requested. It is XX/XX/XXXX and I have not received a response from Coinbase, nor have they removed the blocking of my account. I have all the conversations with the chat recorded without giving me solutions, other than asking me for patience and I haven't been able to access my savings for 7 months, as I need them to face some important expenses.

Consumer Complaint: I have been getting harassed, emotionally and financially abused by Coinbase for months. I can not understand how this company is allowed to operate. Their practices are extremely deceiving and there is clear fraudulent activity going on. They keep coming up excuses as to why they are allowed to freeze my account and hold my money, stating they need to verify my ID, which has been verified with them for XXXX XXXX. No matter how many times I submit my ID docs, they review them for several days and then say again that I need to submit ID docs and that the verification team needs to review them. This has been a continuous cycle and excuse they have used to keep kicking the can down the road. Finally, after almost XXXX months of constant abuse, my information was verified and my account was unfrozen. That was XXXX weeks ago, and told myself I would never use Coinbase ever again. However, today I needed money urgently to cover some unexpected expenses and had no other option but to sell some of my crypto. This was the first time Ive used this account again after going through the weeks of harassment previously mentioned. However, after sending crypto to my Coinbase account and selling it, as soon as I tried to cash out, my account got frozen and suspended once again again. Its absolutely absurd. They finally, after weeks of hassle, unfroze my account just to let me add more money to it, and immediately froze it again once I did. This is emotional and financial abuse. I need this money to pay bills and to live. Its literally all I have left and they keep making up lies about me needing to verify my ID over and over just to get interest free loans from me for weeks at a time. The worst part is, no one is accountable and I can not speak to anyone or email anyone at the company. I have tried over and over again to get ahold of someone who works there that isnt the call center rep who reads off a script. It is literally impossibly to speak to anyone or do anything about this. They are abusing their power and taking advantage of customers. It is gross negligence and emotional abuse. This has cost me dozens of hours of my time as each time I try get some answers its XXXX XXXX of my time for the same scripted response. I even had to pay for their premium subscription just so I could get customer support for this issue, which is just an overseas call center with reps reading off a script. This has cost me thousands of dollars in extra costs because of me being unable to pay for things because they are holding all of my money hostage for no apparent reason. This has caused me such pain its like I am being tortured by these people. I am certain that it is written in the code on their platform that as soon as I try pull money out of my account, it raises a flag and suspends my account because either they have a liquidity problem and they dont actually have the money ( even though I literally sent the money to them XXXX minuets before my account got frozen ) or they are just abusing their power and using my money as an interest free loan. I already submitted a complaint to the XXXX and XXXX about XXXX month ago, but never hear back. Maybe you guys can do something about this.

Consumer Complaint: I signed into my account. They said they wanted to send a text message to the phone number XXXX after XX/XX/23 i am no longer the owner of this phone number. I attempted to gain access to the account through my passport. I sent them a picture of my face, and a photo of my passport. They sent some automated message saying they were unable to verify me. Any other avenue of contacting them was met with a prompt to sign in, which is impossible at this point. They are making it impossible for me to access the account in an attempt to defraud me from the thousands of dollars in the account.

Consumer Complaint: In XXXX of 2022 I used XXXX dollars of XXXX as collateral for a XXXX dollar cash loan. In XXXX of 2022 I was locked out of my account. After several phone calls and emails I had to set up a new account and email address. In XXXX of 2022 Coinbase transferred my other assets to the new account, but did not transfer the loan. Coinbase has held on to the collateral, continues to sell the collateral each month and has not given me access to pay off the loan. I receive emails from my old account in the email that is associated with the original account that I do not have access to. Also, I receive emails to my new email that is not associated with the original account making me aware that Coinbase is selling my collateral.
