Consumer Complaint: I was depositing funds from my credit union checking account into my coinbase account. {$1000.00}. And {$4000.00}. 2 transactions. After Trans were completed there was a notice in the details stating the funds will be avail. To withdraw on XX/XX/2023 I made the Trans on XX/XX/2023 that is a 14 day on the funds sent electronically. After much searching I found their live chat support. This was a solutionless waste of time. I was told that it's the policy for ACH payment to get a 2 to 3 day hold and after that coinbase may take another 3 days to process it. When I told her that's 6 days there is 14 day hold plus I dint know this, why didn't they inform me at the time of purchase she said here is a link you can read about our policy. We went back and forth so I ended the chat. A day later I started a new chat and it was more of the same as previous chat. Both chats lasted 1 hour +, I can't tell you exactly how long because the chat is not accessible during or after. No scrolling up to reread what was said or copy the link provided no option to email it to me. A ridiculous system for support. I had a 3 chat but the agent was very unhelpful. I thought reg cc gave rules on how long a financial business can put on deposited funds? 14 days on funds they have recvd electronically is unreasonable. How can I get this lifted. The funds are part of a business investment that had a deadline of today XX/XX/2023 will be cancelled. I am requesting you help in this matter. I asked where are the funds or where do they hold them but recvd no answer. This is like the stock market I am losing money as time progresses. Thank you Ps they use email for accounts no account numbers. Plus I gave you my home address

Consumer Complaint: Coinbase the XXXX scam company that has already scammed me once is still scamming me. After they stole my money and refused to close my account and wouldnt let me trade while bitcoin crashed. Bitcoin finally went back out to I sold and am trying to get my money back from this XXXX awful company, and they wont let me transfer my money back to my bank account. So theyre still holding the money they scammed me into giving them originally. They still havent closed my account because it still has funds. But I cant withdrawal the funds. They also have no way to talk to an actual human everyone I communicate with is a chat function with options and no people.
