Consumer Complaint: I went to every Coinbase help page I could find, and they all said they were overloaded with high traffic. All I really got access to was a a long list of FAQs. I sold {$2200.00} worth of Bitcoin on Coinbase, on XX/XX/XXXX, it was converted to USD. I am now trying to withdraw that amount into my linked bank account, and when I try to, I get a pop-up stating that my balance is {$0.00}. I understand there may be a waiting period for money to clear ; however, I use a Mastercard debit for my withdraw, this carries a higher fee, and is supposed to be " instant '' ... So perhaps you can understand my frustration. Every time I went to a " help '' section of the app, I was just redirected to a site full of FAQs, and the high traffic disclaimer.

I would like to denounce you an issue that happened when i exchanged cryptocurrencies at COINBASE inc. and I loss 55 % of my capital due to its responsibility, without giving me an option to cancel that transaction. I have opened three cases about that issue to Coinbase help and support department, but unfortunately they have just sent me some typical general answers, without any focus to my issue. After that they closed the first two cases without explanation. The third one is still open but they have stopped communicate with me. The cases number are : 1.CASE # XXXX at XX/XX/2020 2.CASE, # XXXX at XX/XX/2020 XXXX. CASE # XXXX at XX/XX/2020 In details at XX/XX/2020 at XXXX ( XXXX ), I traded the amount of XXXX euros of DAI ( stable coin ) ( XXXX coins ) with a price of XXXX per DAI coin at the specific time ( XXXX ) in XXXX with the reference code XXXX transaction ( XXXX ). After the trading in the system XXXX mobile app and coinbase url ) appeared that I had only XXXX euros in XXXX,. That is meaning that dissapperead the 55,09 % of my initial amount of exchange or XXXX euros. As you can see at XXXX they calculated in their own decision with a value per coin DAI about XXXX, when at specific time and general time ( DAI it is a stable cryptocurrency ) the price was XXXX euros per DAI coin ( XXXX XXXX. I would like to inform you also that at the time of trading the XXXX was in an increasing phase and took about 500 % increased. All the images that i am sending you there are screenshots from the official coinbase app or site. Also for your checks i am sending you the XXXX that is the value of XXXX at the specific time. Of course you can check the same values at any site for the specific time. I would like to thank you in advance for the time that you are going to spend for my case, as also to resolve that issue that is illegal and leads to the lost of cofidence at a big company in US, the regulator of it and of course of the new economy market. I noticed the fees were quite high but lower on coinbase pro, so I attempted to transfer my account to coinbase pro. My account was frozen immediately and I can no longer make any transactions or withdraw any money. Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX, I discovered that someone within Coinbase had made several unauthorized transactions on XX/XX/XXXX. I was shocked because my account balance just dropped {$1200.00} while the Bitcoin is still going up and I did not do any transactions in my account. The balance should be {$6200.00}, not $ {$4900.00}. It appeared that they had sold my positions in Bitcoin and Ethereum and used the credit to purchase other Altcoin positions of cheaper value. They even accessed my linked checking account to pull additional funds for these purchases. I emailed their support team to refute the transactions and my account was immediately disabled on XX/XX/XXXX. I then contacted my bank to complain about the unauthorized access to my account and they reversed the transactions and returned the funds. I changed all my passwords and user names as instructed by the Coinbase support guidelines and attempted to re-access my account. The next Coinbase email I received instructed me that it would take 9 business days to re-activate the account. On XX/XX/XXXX, I received an email from Coinbase saying " Funds recovery complete '' Sign in to Coinbase but the reset passwords link to sign in are not even working. Over the next few days, I received some robotic emails with a link instructing me to furnish additional funds to the account in order to re-activate it. Instead, I responded with the original complaint about the unauthorized transactions and requested that they restore all my original positions in Bitcoin and Ethereum along with my access so that I could continue trading. I have not received any further response and now my emails are getting bounced back stating the email address I was replying to doesn't exist.

Consumer Complaint: I have previously filed a complaint through CFBP on XXXX XXXX XXXX the complain ID : XXXX about Coinbase company and the fact that they have locked my account for 33 days now and not only they respond very rarely but when they do they claim that the documents I provided them with are not accurate which I strongly reject and I will send you a screen shot of what they asked and what I provided to find out who is not doing the job right. I held around 3 BTC with Coinbase and I was a day to day trader. However they locked my account based on a false claim that my account was logged into from a prohibited country and ever since for some reason they kept ignoring me and my documents which proves they are wrong. The reason I am resubmitting a complaint again is because they asked me to provide them with 1- A bank statement not older that 30 days. 2- A utility bill not older than 30 days. 3- Government issued ID. So I sent them 1- A full PXXXX XXXX statement dated XXXX. 2- Electricity bill dated XXXX. 3- XXXX passport. 4- XXXX driving licence. All containing what they asked for which is my name and my current address and bank details and etc. Surprisingly the E mail I received instead was : ''The documents you provided was older than 30 days and you did not provide your ID '' I am so frustrated with their customer service and I would like you to have a look at what they requested and what I sent to them. Please help me as I feel helpless and I think Coinbase intend to hold on to people assets for as long as possible Coinbase the price of Bitcoin is sky rocketing. They do not care to correspond well with me as a customer and do not care if I have family and need to look after their well beings. Please help. Thank you. XXXX XXXX

Consumer Complaint: We have 2 accounts with Coinbase, one is under my wife 's name ( With email address : XXXX ) and other is under my name ( With email address : XXXX ), also we had registered both accounts with the same phone number as XXXX. As we plan a trip to our motherland, so we had to change the phone number to access our account when we are out of the U.S, but after changing the phone number on the account with email address XXXX, Coinbase disabled both our accounts, and has blocked my asset and says " Sorry, account temporarily disabled. Please contact support. '' and stated we are not resident of the U.S while it's not correct and we are lawful permanent resident of the U.S, they also have our government ID, address and SSN, I also asked them I can resend or provide them with any other documentation that prove we are resident of the U.S, but they never responded to me. I have also tried to call their costumer service, but their call center doesn't accept calls, also I sent them several messages through their website but they never reply me. I also have attached my driver 's license, green card, last bank statement and last utility bill for your reference.

Consumer Complaint: This is an ongoing problem for users sending virtual currency to the company Coinbase ( " a digital currency exchange '' ). On XX/XX/20 I made a deposit to my Coinbase account which was confirmed completed at XXXX for a transaction of XXXX Ethereum to my Coinbase account which has a current market value today of approximately {$52000.00}. I have yet to receive the funds in my Coinbase account. After reaching out to there customer support team, they do not have live agents to speak to only automated email responses informing that they can not help me at this time as the transaction was performed on another network and they can not access it. This is not true as other exchanges ( Liquid ) have assisted their users in retrieving the funds for them. The funds are on their servers and they are not willing to assist in crediting or resending back the asset.
