Consumer Complaint: Coinbase targeted me for a promotion where I would receive {$5.00} in BTC if I successfully completed two reoccurring deposits. I completed three reoccurring deposits. The {$5.00} was not deposited to my account. When I reached out to support they did not help me. I have followed up multiple times since then and still this simple thing has not been resolved. Consumer Complaint: Coinbase ref : XXXX : ref PROBLEM NOT SOLVED Help request # XXXX Login XXXX The problem started when I tried to upgrade to Coinbase Pro and their system would not accept the correct access code three times, then locked me out. When I opened and made my purchases on Coinbase I owned XXXX homes, my Homestead in XXXX and my vacation home in XXXX. I have since retired, sold my XXXX home, and moved to XXXX full time. Coinbase has now closed my account because they aren't registered in XXXX. Under these circumstances I believe I met their requirements when I open my account and made purchases while living in XXXX. No where in their Terms of Service does it say if you move to XXXX, where they aren't registered, you will loss access and all your assets. That is exactly what they have done to me. At this point I have no access. They have informed me that my account has been closed because they are not registered in XXXX. They gave me no options to liquidate my assets. Also I was never asked for more then the 2 step text security access code to both buy and sell coins AND increase my limit to {$7000.00} from {$500.00}. So I had no idea there was a problem. There is no live help on line or phone to ask questions. Does just living in XXXX disqualifies me from keeping my account? If so, where is that stated in Coinbase Terms of Service? Where does it state what happens to your assets should one move to XXXX? THEY SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO KEEP MY ASSETS. Please help. XXXX XXXX

Consumer Complaint: I was contacted on XXXX XXXX, by coinbase that my ID had been verified. Followed by am email stating I violated rules. Between the 2 services, coinbase and there pro site I had crypto currency. They kicked me off the platform to a page to withdraw funds, but the holdings from coinbase pro were missing. Sent string of emails trying to recover, which in turn launched there own investigation. All the coins appeared in the section where you 2 step verify and send out the coins. When I try. It says coinbase support has it locked. There not answering any inquiries.

Consumer Complaint: I'm having issues with Coinbase. They had an offer to complete a course on a new coin they were offering so i did it and the next day I was charged {$50.00} worth of that coin. Which I never agreed to buy this was on XX/XX/XXXX. They charged an old bank account i had left connected so the payment failed. I contacted them the next day and they said i had to pay to keep my account active. So I did and as soon as the payment went through they fully blocked me from my account on XX/XX/XXXX. I then submitted another ticket with my concern where they said I should receive a response from a " Specialist '' in 4-5 days. It's now XX/XX/XXXX with not a single response from my first or second tickets. I have XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX on their platform making my account worth well over $ XXXX. This is putting my business in a big bind not being able to sell. I've already lost a huge deal on a new piece of equipment I have been trying to get for a month because i wasn't allowed to pull my money out. I've been emailing them daily I have attached the email string to show how unresponsive they are.

Consumer Complaint: My account was restricted for reasons only known to coinbase, Ive banned from sending and recieving crypto on coinbase, wasnt even allow to make new deposit or withdraw ... the only given option was to withdraw my funds from the coinbase via my linked bank account. My linked bank account is no longer active which means I might need to link another bank account to coinbase before I could make a withdraw. Ive been restricted from doing this aswell ( Im not allowed to link a new bank account ) coinbase has been holding my money hostage since 2020. My investment plan was ruined last year. Now I cant even take out what I have left in the account which is a total of {$21000.00}. Im sick and Im tired of this. Sent an email to coinbase on XXXX of XXXX and I got the response that my case has been transferred to a specialist. Consumer Complaint: Late night XXXX XXXX morning XX/XX/2021 there was an unauthorized transaction in my XXXX account. All of my XXXX ( around {$17000.00} usd ) was converted to XXXX XXXX and then was being transferred to an account I did not recognize. I cancelled the transfer and converted the XXXX XXXX back to XXXX. I had to pay XXXX fees for the unauthorized conversion and to convert back and I lost money due to a change in the currency values. My total loss for this unauthorized transaction is around {$500.00}. I reported this to XXXX and they have since locked my account. They keep sending the same message over and over please complete the following steps to restore access to your account. I follow the steps but they will not restore access and they have no live customer service via phone/email/chat. XXXX weeks later Im still locked out of my account. Ive included an attachment to show the only communication Ive received is the same email over and over.

Consumer Complaint: Hi, This is for the Coinbase referral program where you can refer a person and as long as they buy {$100.00} in Bitcoin, Coinbase will give {$10.00} to both parties. I referred my spouse and she bought {$100.00} of BTC on XX/XX/2021. The total transaction was {$100.00} as {$2.00} was the Coinbase transaction fee. It has been 10 days and neither my or my spouse have received the {$10.00} in BTC. I reached out to Coinbase support and they said that their referral program is fully automated, please check their website XXXX XXXX : XXXXXXXX ) for their referral program rules and verify that all steps were done. I have completed all their requirements listed on their website and after reaching out to them, they kept repeating the same thing to me through email correspondence. At this time, there is no way for me to verify why I didn't receive the referral bonus and they refuse to provide any additional information about it. This is the same messaging I receive : " Our referral program is fully automated. Note that we are unable to manually review or credit any referrals that are not automatically paid out. We are unable to provide specific information as to why any referrals may have been deemed ineligible. A few of the more common reasons are that the account was created but not completed or verified, or that the account has not fully complete a purchase up to {$100.00} worth of digital currency. Consumer Complaint: I had a Coinbase Account with Virtual Assets in it. The account was hacked. The hacker bought more currency against my knowledge then transferred all the assets out of the account. I was not notified UNTIL my bank flagged a purchase request for {$25000.00}. I called and immediately. Reported the fraud. Then went on to report the unauthorized activity and ask if I could seek recovery from Coinbase. For the last year, I generated multiple support tickets, tried to call them, sent separate emails. Coinbase initially confirmed that the issue has been reported and that they would reach out to further help me with the case. Instead, I would not get any more contact and the ticket would be closed. Coinbase also consistently locked my account over and over. Then filed yet another support ticket, again they locked the account. I got it unlocked recently only to discover that Coinbase had not help me with recovery or reported the fraud. They were also trying to charge me an additional {$2500.00} on top, with claims they will be forcibly collecting it in 5 days. I have already notified my bank to stop unauthorized transactions from Coinbase. I would like to recover the funds stolen and stop coinbase from trying to collect funds they are not owed. This is how much the hacker stole from my account without any warning from coinbase. Sent Bitcoin XXXX BTC on XX/XX/2020 Sent Litecoin XXXX LTC on XX/XX/2020 And now this is what they are trying to charge on top Coinbase Charging {$2500.00}
