Using the app, I can see my balance but when I try to look at my portfolio breakdown, it pops up with a message " We're having connection issues please try again later ''. I have not been able to access my funds for nearly three weeks! Support has been no help at all, can't get help from a real human being. Consumer Complaint: I had my account hacked XX/XX/2021. My phone service is with XXXX XXXX. I was not on auto pay with my phone and when I called to make a payment they told me my phone number no longer existed. I discovered my phone number had been ported to XXXX. Someone with the phone carrier watches the XXXX messages to identify the customers with COINBASE and interrupts the service to take the phone number and use to hack accounts. However COINBASE should never allow someone to change a password without having to present photo ID, that is the reason I would think the WEB ID and Government issued ID is held for the account holder in addition to meeting KYC. The hacker changed the phone number after they accessed the account to prevent me from accessing via XXXX, but this shouldn't be able to happen if you are required to present a Photo and Government Issue ID when verifying your identity to open an account. The only way this could occur is some from inside COINBASE is working with the hacker. Two things tip me off : My phone number was taken away after just one day between payment renewal date and making a payment. They told me the number no longer existed.

Consumer Complaint: I open an account with coinbase, for about 6 to 8 weeks it works fine. I received a text from them that said there may be some fraudulent activity, I click to open the link and have not been able to get into my account since. I have sent them at least a dozen messages. I have filed complaint forms out with them. And I've called a half a dozen times. I have got zero responses from them in 2 weeks. In this ball is all cryptocurrency market time is of the essence. We're only talking about {$1000.00} or so here but it certainly shouldn't be up to them to decide when I can access my money. And they shouldn't be allowed to do business if they're not going to have a customer service department.

Then he said he can teach me how to invest and invest for me. He started to teach me to open a Coinbase account, I had never contacted Coinbase before, so he has my phone number and Email information, I assume he can guess my password or hack into my email cuz I setup easier. Then he ask me to download another fake platform named XXXX app ( after reading the news report, I found out that it was a fake platform created by the scam group in order to steal the victims personal information from Coinbase Money or currency transfer. And I have couple transactions been sent to a digital wallet chain address without my permission. I try to file a claim from XXXX XXXX and Coinbase regarding this fraud, unfortunately with no response or said cant help. I feel very depressed and helpless. I believe that the big platform Coinbase has such a big loophole that makes it easy for scammers to commit crimes, and the big bank XXXX I trust is so incompetent that it can not protected their customer 's money, can not be recovered even if the scam.
