Consumer Complaint: Jefferson capital system put old information on my credit report to XXXX, I already dispute not my account on XXXX, and XXXX, they removed it from both, and I did not dispute XXXX now it showing up as of today on my XXXX report, this has cost a lot of things to change on my credit cards, also loans, drop my credit limit, this has been going on every six months, the information deleted, 6 months later it back on there, Im hurt and my credit means a lot to me, I pay my bills, if this was my bill, I would not have a problem paying, it at my credit report, never been late never missed a payment, they have no right to do this, they keep selling the debt back and forth, please get in touch with XXXX, I did dispute it today, it just showed up on my credit report on today, thank you, I feel I my right has been used against me please get in touch with XXXX, like you all ready did with the other the credit bureau Thanks XXXX XXXX

Consumer Complaint: My credit report has a collection on it that is false in every way. The claim is made by Jefferson Capital System XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. XXXX, MN. XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX was opened by me on XX/XX/XXXX and charged off on XX/XX/XXXX, over three years ago. Jefferson has put on my credit report that I opened on XX/XX/XXXX and the account is still open, this is not true. They are stating I owe {$690.00}, also false, when in fact the original amount was {$300.00}. and charged off by original creditor. Further more I have seen no paperwork, statements, or any other correspondence from Jefferson Capital at all. I only noticed this as it was on my credit report as of XX/XX/XXXX. The info they have placed on my report as debt collection, open account is false, and I need this removed.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/28 I was denied for my XXXX XXXX credit card ( which Ive made payment on in a settlement agreement ) XXXX XXXX housing property manager said it was listed on my credit report as a landlord tenant. The system XXXX XXXX Renewal Uses is Safe rent solutions and they provided me with a copy of the report and told me in their system it is shown as a credit card but XXXX XXXX denied me and listed as tenant/landlord. That is NOT a tenant/landlord is is a Credit Card and XXXX XXXX XXXX says their system identifies it as a credit card and they dont know why XXXX XXXX put it as landlord lord tenant and they couldnt call XXXX XXXX to tell them I would have to. So XXXX XXXX denied me incorrectly. I called to speak to a manager to rectify this ( see screenshot of phone call ) and the representative told me there wasnt one available.

Consumer Complaint: I have never received any correspondence or communication from Jefferson Capital I dont have any kind of contracts or accounts with them. Upon further investigation they are a third party debt collector that is not licensed as such in South Carolina. They are listed as a XXXX XXXX which is defined as this : XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX strongly suggests a potential applicant submit a detailed business plan as described in the new application checklist. This should be done prior to applying in XXXX to determine the correct licensing jurisdiction. Who is required to have this license? An entity that is making consumer loans or is taking assignments of and undertaking direct collection of payments from or enforcement of rights against debtors arising from supervised loans. A supervised loan means a consumer loan in which the rate of the loan finance charge exceeds twelve percent per year as determined according to the provisions on the loan finance charge for consumer loans ( Section XXXX XXXX ). If a website will be used to take supervised loan applications or process payments electronically for supervised loans, a separate supervised lender website license will be required in addition to the license for the home office. A separate application request and fee will be required for each website. They are a debt collector company and fall under the -Who does not need this license section : ( a ) Mortgage lender as defined in Section 37-22-110 ( 30 ) ; or ( b ) Retail sales contract. An entity performing retail sales transactions/ contracts is not required to and will not be issued a supervised lenders license. See Title 37 Chapter 2 on the SCCPC. ( c ) Third party debt collectors. Entities that are collecting debts for other lenders. ( d ) Passive debt buyers. They do not have the appropriate license in my state in addition to no communication from them to me. In addition to the follow 15 U.S. Code 6803 - Disclosure of institution privacy policy ( a ) Disclosure required At the time of establishing a customer relationship with a consumer and not less than annually during the continuation of such relationship, a financial institution shall provide a clear and conspicuous disclosure to such consumer, in writing or in electronic form or other form permitted by the regulations prescribed under section 6804 of this title, of such financial institutions policies and practices with respect to ( 1 ) disclosing nonpublic personal information to affiliates and nonaffiliated third parties, consistent with section 6802 of this title, including the categories of information that may be disclosed ; ( 2 ) disclosing nonpublic personal information of persons who have ceased to be customers of the financial institution; and ( 3 ) protecting the nonpublic personal information of consumers. I do not have an account with nor any contractual obligations to them/with them
