Consumer Complaint: I received a copy of my XXXX credit report and disputed the following items in writing on XXXX XXXX, XXXX via return receipt mail to XXXX that I did not recognize. 1. Previous address : XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, GA XXXX Reported XXXX 2. Credit Account Number XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX {$1800.00} 3. Credit Account Number XXXX XXXX XXXX {$1800.00} I also mailed a dispute letter to both Jefferson Capital and XXXX via return receipt on XXXX XXXX, XXXX. I have attached a copy of the letter to Jefferson Capital. On XXXX XXXX, XXXX, I received a confirmation result letter from XXXX that they are deleting all three disputes. I have attached a copy of this letter. On the same day, XXXX XXXX, XXXX, there was a letter delivered to our address to the attention of a XXXX XXXX from Jefferson Capital regarding the {$1800.00} debt. The letter states that they must be notified with 30 days after receiving this notice to dispute it and enclosed a form to complete personal information including your social security number. It also says that unless I notify their office within the 30 days that their office will assume this debt is valid. I am officially filing a complaint against Jefferson Capital to stop all communication. XXXX has already deleted my disputed items and I am not familiar with an XXXX XXXX.

Consumer Complaint: To Whom It Concern, I recently received a copy of my credit report ( XX/XX/2017 ). In conformance to my rights under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act ( FDCPA ), I am requesting you to provide me with a validation of the debt, Please note, this is not a refusal to pay, rather a statement that your claim is disputed and validation is demanded. ( 15 USC 1692g Sec. 809 ( b ) ) I do hereby request that your office provide me with complete documentation to verify that I owe the said debt and have any legal obligation to pay you. Please provide me with the following : Agreement with the creditor that authorizes you to collect on this alleged debt The agreement bearing my signature stating that I have agreed to assume the debt Valid copies of the debt agreement stating the amount of the debt and interest charges Proof that the Statute of Limitations has not expired Complete payment history on this account along with an accounting of all additional charges being assessed Show me that you are licensed to collect in my state ; and Your license numbers and Registered Agent If your office fails to reply to this debt validation letter within 30 days from the date of your receipt, all instances related to this account must be immediately deleted and completely removed from my credit file. Consumer Complaint: Hi my name is XXXX XXXX. Recently my step dad had a severe XXXX and my mom who is XXXX weighing XXXX XXXX lbs had to take care of him alone for over 1 yr. when we found out there was no care taker for him, my husband and I moved closer to help. We eventually had to send him to XXXX XXXX because of his XXXX XXXX. Long story short, we tried getting my mom an electric wheel chair ect via a personal loan only to be denied over and over. I was told that you could get into your XXXX/ XXXX XXXX and look at your report. I ended up finding about 4 accounts that had went to collection. At that point, I immediately paid all of them in full. I told them all what my hardship was and begged hem to take it off my reports after I paid them. They said it cold take up to 60 days. In the meantime, XXXX XXXX XXXX " XXXX original creditor " XXXX, had settled my whole Dept with he in the amount of {$300.00} '. I had asked them to remove it from my XXXX/XXXX XXXX/ and my XXXX report, and instead of showing paid in full, {$300.00} they re opened a revolving account saying that I actually owed them {$300.00}. I have tried numerous times to resolve these issues and they refuse to help which has really damaged my report all over again because all reporting agency 's re opened this account. I would like for this to be resolved immediately so I can at least apply for a personal loan to help my mother~ XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX has damaged my credit ...

Consumer Complaint: JEFFERSON CAPITAL SYSTEM is reporting a collection account for a XXXX XXXX account that I have never opened I have asked several times to provide me with a signed contract because I have no knowledge of this account when I disputed this with the credit bureau within 2 days they come back with account verified but not providing me anything that shows that I signed a contract I also contacted the collection company and asked for a contract which I have not received I previously disputed this when the account was with another collection company and it was deleted from my report after cfpb got involved and since then the account was sold to another collection company and now back reporting

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX I notified XXXX with XXXX XXXX XXXX over the phone at XXXX that I was disputing the debt and was requesting the original contract sent to me. Then on mailed a follow up letter stating that I was disputing the debt. Since then I have had a collection placed on my credit report from Jefferson Capital Systems , LLC who they said I owed. XXXX was unable to provide the contract to me so they sold the debt. I have suffered damage to my credit score from this collection which no one was been able to send me any proof that I owe it.

Consumer Complaint: I contacted Jefferson Capital Systems to settle a debt I had with XXXX XXXX We verbally agreed upon settling for half the owed amount ( {$500.00} ). I gave them my debit card information and was charged {$250.00}. Great. Problem solved. Tuesday, I received a letter in the mail from a new debt collector requesting to settle a balance from Jefferson Capital Systems of {$250.00}. I feel like they sold a settled debt.
