Consumer Complaint: I had XXXX XXXX student loans that were relatively small, well under 5k. I was under the impression that my payments were in good standing, next thing you know I 'm getting calls from XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX saying that I owe money and I owe them now or else. Or else what? ( This was the end of XXXX XXXX XXXX they said they had the power to seize my truck, and that they would be garnishing my grandparents income ( they are in mid XXXX and in bad health ). Well of coarse these threats scared me, and XXXX and or XXXX XXXX XXXX would call me sometimes 5 times a day as early as XXXX ( im confident that att could pull up these statements from that period to support this ). Anyways long story short, a man named XXXX would make threats on behalf of XXXX XXXX XXXX, about the above, he said this would all happen if I did n't settle up immediately, well not having a lot of money he told me he would stop calls and leave my grandparents alone, and to do this he wanted XXXX now, he said then two wks later he wanted another XXXX and the following month XXXX at this point he told me I would be settled up, debt paid in full, and this nightmare would be over. I gave him the XXXX payment fast being scared out of my mind and wanting to protect my grandparents. I followed up with the payments but asked him before the last one for a receipt. XXXX told me no to a receipt and said my statement is all I needed and would get. I asked again nicely, he said no and refused to send me proof. I was very worried about all of this because the same XXXX told me he would accept XXXX a month after a payment of XXXX and XXXX followed up with an email which I still have, demanding I reply 'agreed upon 'and returned, when I went to do that deal he said it was no longer on the table and pushed me for more. Anyway, XXXX and XXXX XXXX XXXX both got my money and all was supposed to be done and over. Four years later XXXX has hired a law firm from AZ named XXXX XXXX to collect for the same debt I have already paid for, I responded asking for Validity, they supplied me with someone else 's information, complete with all of her dob, ss number and lots of personal info.. So for months I had no validation of what I asked for and who knows where my info is ( I still have all this woman 's info and paperwork complete with XXXX letter head on letters ) I called XXXX and got hung up on when I tried to explain what they have done ( probably a fdcpa violation in there some place I 'm assuming ) I called back again and told them what I wanted and what I did n't receive, finally a list of payments none reflecting any of my payments or admitting that I have already settled this debt. I asked for a chain of custody, they gave me a bill of sales from XXXX XXXX, but no place does it have my account numbers or name on the bill of sale. It just says XXXX XXXX sold debt to XXXX on a certain date. I called XXXX at XXXX and he admitted that I made the three payments he said XXXX took the debt back and that he would not provide me with any information or receipts of payments so I can show a judge in the future. He did confirm that the payments were two go towards three loans, two of which we are talking about now. I never had a chance to review the validation papers because XXXX provided someone else 's private info to me instead of mine. XXXX filed suit on me in justice court on XXXX. I called XXXX and asked them to stop law suit because I paid this already, the response I received was that they already filed and that it cost them money to do so, so no they would n't stop. I went to XXXX XXXX XXXX and already have one of three payments showing that XXXX collected from me on behalf of XXXX, but XXXX does not show this in payment records. I feel I got scammed and am getting scammed again, I intend to fight this to the end and hopefully expose XXXX and their bullying tactics of threats and lies. As of now I have not recieved service so only the cases have been filed. I 'm stressed every day and night about an issue that should n't be.

Consumer Complaint: In XX/XX/XXXX-XX/XX/XXXX, I 'd attempted to make payment arrangements with a representative of the company to begin to pay my debt. The first agreement was {$50.00} for two years until the year XX/XX/XXXX. I was unemployed and single mother. It was one month that I 'd asked the representative for lower payment ( {$25.00} ) just until I could get on back on my feet. The representative agree, but the company had still taken the original amount. Since it was an unauthorized payment amount taken, I 'd asked the representative for paper statements because I did n't want them no later to withdraw payments from my bank account. The representative refused and told me that they did n't have mailed paper statement it was only bank account withdrawal and if I 'd refused it would be a considered a breach of contract and my credit would be affect. I 'd still refused to approve him to continue to withdraw the payment, because they 'd breached contracted by withdrawing the more than I 'd authorized during this time. He 'd then stated that my account would still be considered valid and it would affect my credit. Since then, I 've tried to apply for credit and other loans to have better myself, I 've been disapproved every time and once I 've reached out to verify the account information as far as the balance, I 've not received any information. The account was originally owned by another creditor, in which they 'd bought the account, and I do n't agree with the amount and want to know how did they come with it. I 'd borrowed {$10000.00} from XXXX XXXX while I was a student at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX in XX/XX/XXXX-XX/XX/XXXX. The company is stating that I owe over {$24000.00}! I do n't think I 've accumulated that much interest. They are negatively reporting information to the three credit bureaus or missing information. Also, since this company ( XXXX XXXX XXXX ) had bought an original creditor ( XXXX XXXX ) 's account that was going through a federal investigation, I 'd received a settlement judgement that they did n't follow protocol with reporting information for servicemembers of Armed Forces. There 's also multiple accounts, but I 'm unsure which is accurate and why they 're not reporting any information and just keep reporting without sending me information to handle the matter.

I have disputed this debt with the three bureaus and had it removed for failure to validate because there is no contract for this debt. However, each time they sell it to another collection agency it is yet again reported to the bureaus. If there was no validation of this debt with the previous collection agency, there still isnt any with the current and it needs to be removed from all three bureaus immediately.

I understand and aware that you should not put an inquiries or accounts on my file unless i have approved it. I have provided you with the information and the a previous police report i sent a few months. Your company never responded and i am now stressed, bothered, and XXXX. I am currently working with an investigator to stop the use of my name by someone who has stolen my identity. Please have the following inquiries and accounts removed off my credit file immediately because i did not authorized them and they are fraudulent.
