Consumer Complaint: A collection company by the name of XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX is reporting a collection account for a XXXX account that I have never opened. I have asked them to provide me with a signed contract because I have no knowledge of this account when I disputed this with the credit bureau within 30 days they responded with a letter advising the account was verified but they have not provided me with anything that shows that I signed a contract. I have also contacted the collection company and asked for a signed contract which I have not received. After I disputed this with XXXX XXXX XXXX they sent me a letter stating " we have updated our records to show that this account is disputed and to call to discuss payment options '' but did not provide me with anything stating I still have a right to dispute further. I have followed up and sent another dispute letter recently because it was still within 30 days of receiving an initial response from them. After all of that I received a notice from the court stating they are suing me for the debt for an account that I have never opened and have yet to produce a signed contract for.

Consumer Complaint: XXXX XXXX XXXX put a collection - XX/XX/2019 Amount {$1400.00} I do not owe this debt nor know what it is. I called XXXX and they said they bought it from another collection agency whom I and removed the collection because the account was not mine. Many collection agencies once they lose remove bureaus will sell to a new collection agency even if trying to collect unlawfully. The new agency then puts a collection on consumer regardless what result was. They pass it on to eachother. This happened to me once on a XXXX XXXX {$100.00} collection that was my family members. It started w/XXXX then 3 diff collection agencies took it over even after I wont the dispute

Consumer Complaint: I paid this debt directly with XXXX back in XXXX or XXXX. I accepted a settlement offer from them and legally paid in full for less than due. The account has been reporting as closed " legally paid in full for less than balance due '' on my credit report since XX/XX/XXXX. I have attached snapshots of my report below, showing it being reported as closed & paid. On XX/XX/XXXX I receive an alert from XXXX that a new collection is being reported under my name. I log on to XXXX to view the account, and see it is being reported as a collection account under XXXX XXXX XXXX for the original amount {$2900.00}, which has already been settled with XXXX.

Consumer Complaint: XXXX XXXX has an amount of {$2300.00} on my credit report with the original creditor being XXXX. I initially made XXXX aware I had no knowledge of this account and let them know that I was on SSI XXXX and unable to even attempt to pay just to get it off my credit report. Then around after XX/XX/2019 I began receiving letters from XXXX XXXX ( at an older address of XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX NY XXXX ) stating that I owe the amount of {$2300.00}. I responded one time via mail declaring all that I just said here. Clearly that letter fell on deaf ears as I received 2 letters since ( to hew address of XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX NY XXXX ) as well as MANY phone calls ranging from XXXX to XXXX with blank or static noise filled voicemails. I feel harassed and intimidated by this company. Unfortunately, due to the financial difficulties I have being on SSI XXXX I can not do much so I am coming to you for help. All I would kindly like done is for this company to remove this so called debt, information and remarks and from my credit report and I will remove complaints I've filed with other agencies.

It was sold to a collection agency who will not stop trying to contact me after I asked them not to anymore. This account from XXXX was from a previous employer. I ported my number and have no association to this business account. I was never the owner of this account.
