Consumer Complaint: For the record, I have NEVER received ANY service and NEVER made ANY purchase from Jefferson Capital System LLC. I sent a formal dispute letter seeking validation of the alleged debt which Jefferson Capital System LLC received at XXXX on XX/XX/2020, evidenced by certified mail number XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. Jefferson Capital System LLC FAILED to respond with the requested competent evidence as per FDCPA, FCRA etc. After thirty days, I sent another letter giving Jefferson Capital System LLC another opportunity to EVIDENCE the alleged debt but Jefferson Capital System LLC continuously sent prints of alleged bills, but FAILED to evidence the alleged debt. As per FTC opinion letter from Attorney XXXX XXXX XXXX, you should be aware that a printout of a bill or itemized document does not constitute verification. I then disputed the derogatory mark ( Jefferson Capital Systems ) with the Credit Bureaus. Jefferson Capital Systems was then REMOVED from my Credit Report, but IMMEDIATELY reinserted. It is clear that Jefferson Capital Systems is GUILTY of FRAUD AND DECEPTIVE BUSINESS PRACTICES! Please help.

Consumer Complaint: I open the account in a XXXX store that told me wrong information about the monthly bill I received the bill for the month that was coming up I had not been over my 14 days return policy so I return the phones so I took the phone back and close the account now they trying to charge me for the phone and service I return. I called and talk with the company and explain what was going on and they still didnt remove the report

I told her if the call was an attempt to collect a debt to please communicate with me thru mail only. She hung up on me. I never received mail from this company and now the account is on my credit reports. The account is listed as a collections debt with original creditor XXXX XXXX and I feel I was not given the opportunity verify the account as mines and I am not aware of the original creditor. This is why I asked the collection agency to contact me via mailbso I would have the information I needed to assure this debt is indeed mine. The balance is showing at {$350.00}

Consumer Complaint: Disputed information with XXXX in reference to XXXX XXXX XXXX. Account was sold to JCS. JCS repoed my vehicle on XX/XX/20, auctioned on XX/XX/20. I explained to XXXX JCS ( Jefferson Capital Services ) had my new address and repoed the truck, as well JCS intentionally sent the redemption letter to my address, through regular mail ( Not certified- per GA Law ). As well XXXX XXXX is reporting the repo ands showing I never made any payments and reporting the full amount of the contract. I reported the same information to XXXX ( who has deleted the file ) as well to XXXX ( no response yet ). I sent XXXX screen shots of payments, which showed the original amount of the contract and they still updated the information as Accurate. I personally believe they did no investigation and just updated it without reviewing.

Consumer Complaint: I have been having a really tough time with XXXX XXXX XXXX credit card. I had two accounts with them which went in to collections and eventually charged off. Upon checking my credit I have been trying to pay off all my debt. I contacted them XX/XX/2020 to try to pay what I owe them and they informed me that there collection agency is Jefferson Capital and I needed to contact them first to pay and then Jefferson capital would report the two payments to them and they would update the accounts on my credit report to a XXXX balance. I paid Jefferson Capital that same day settlejng the debt for less than total amount which satisfies the debt. Jefferson Capital then emailed me two letters stating both cards have been satisfied and now have a XXXX balance and they would be letting XXXX know and they would update the credit. A few days passed and I noticed XXXX updates one of the accounts with the amount of the payment and still showed a remaining balance which is not what I was told would be done. I called XXXX yesterday and the rep told me they only show one payment being made and there was still a balance and that Jefferson capital hasnt notified them that what I paid settled the account. They never saw the second payment at all and they were made the same day. I called Jefferson capital back and after talking to a supervisor she informed me that XXXX sold them one of the accounts and that is why they only see one payment on there and that they were not obligated to report the other payment to them. She also said they already notified them the other debt was settled. This is all completely insane at this point. Im being given the runaround at every angle. I have settled both accounts which they are both reported on on my credit report by XXXX XXXX XXXX but if Jefferson capital will not notify them property then the debt will continue to be reported on my credit from XXXX with. Balance when that information is incorrect. I called XXXX XXXX back several times and they were being very rude to me and one person even hung up in my face. This is very upsetting. These are the only negative marks in my credit and no one seems to be helping me. XXXX shouldnt even be reporting one of the accounts at all since it was sold and they should be deleted. At the very least the other account needs to be updated to XXXX balance because the debt has been paid but they are not doing things properly and this is not right. After I paid both accounts they asked in that same phone call if I wanted to open new accounts with XXXX and after all this there is no way in XXXX that would happen.
