Consumer Complaint: I have been fighting identity theft since the day I turned 18 years of age, and it's almost a nightmare that never stops recurring. Since I was 18 years old I have had all three credit companies flag me for identity theft due to being a victim. I can not file income taxes online because I have to get an IP pin addressed to me every year that goes straight to the IRS headquarters in Texas. XXXX XXXX XXXX has recently placed two collections against me and on my credit report, one of which being for XXXX XXXX in the amount of XXXX $ and the other being XXXX XXXX in the amount of XXXX . Neither of these accounts belong to me nor have they ever been mine, I have been a XXXX XXXX subscriber since I was 18 years of age and have had the same phone number since I was 18 years of age, with no late or past due payments to this very date in time. I'm requesting complete removal and deletion for these two listed accounts as they are both fraud. My step-mother has been placed in jail on three different occasions for using my identity before finally getting a credit freeze placed on my account along with the IRS freezing my social and requiring a paper w2 to be mailed in leading to further my struggle in life because I have yet to receive one stimulus check because my identity can not be verified. This is absurd. Thank you for your understanding, this is a very hard day and age we live in. I didn't know being a victim of identity theft would haunt me for what seems like forever.

This is impossible for 3 reasons. 1 ) My husband and I share a XXXX account and his name is primary. 2 ) That account is connected to a credit card. There is never any debt in that account, because purchases automatically are paid by that card. 3 ) The debts in XXXX would be named for the companies that provided goods or services THROUGH XXXX. Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX I used the tool XXXX to view and print my credit report, at which point I noticed that the company Jefferson Capital Systems was reporting that I am indebted to them {$16000.00}. I have NEVER entered into any type of contract with Jefferson Capital Systems. On or around XX/XX/XXXX, I mailed Jefferson Capital Systems a certified letter requesting validation that I am contractually obligated to pay them. Said letter was to include : the name and address of the alleged creditor, name on file of the alleged debtor, alleged account #, amount of alleged debt, date that this alleged debt became payable and date of original charge-off or delinquency. Also, I asked whether the debt was assigned to a debt collector or purchased? As well as, the amount paid if it was purchased? Lastly, the agreement that bears the signature of the alleged debtor wherein he or she agreed to pay the creditor. On or around the end of XX/XX/XXXX, I received correspondence from Jefferson Capital Systems which included the following information : An account #, current creditor listing of Jefferson Capital Systems, JCS reference # which is the number listed on my credit report, the amount of debt listed as {$16000.00}. But, most surprisingly was the box listed debt description with the name " XXXX XXXX '', which is also the name listed as the original creditor on my credit report. I have NEVER entered into any type of agreement with XXXX XXXX. More importantly after several XXXX searches I have come to realize " XXXX XXXX '' as a company, DOES NOT EXIST. Since Jefferson Capital Systems was obviously refusing to delete the blatant error of reporting that I owe them any amount of money, I sent certified letters to the three credit bureaus : XXXX, XXXX and XXXX requesting that if they could not verify the legitimacy of the information they were reporting on my credit report, they needed to delete it. I have been monitoring my report for changes ; To date XXXX has deleted the reporting while XXXX is reporting that they have verified the information and it meets FCRA requirements. And, XXXX simply states the consumer disputes the reporting. Both agencies have also updated the original creditor to XXXX XXXX XXXX. The basis by which the reporting was probably deleted from XXXX is because XXXX XXXX XXXX reported on or around XX/XX/XXXX that the account had been paid and closed with 100 % of the payments for that account being on time. With 0 % being left to pay on the loan. I am hereby demanding that Jefferson Capital Systems as well as both XXXX and XXXX delete the inaccurate information that they are reporting on my credit report. According to FCRA regulations which state : If inaccurate information is discovered in a consumers file, the consumer reporting agency must examine the disputed information, usually within 30 days. If the inaccurate information can not be verified, the consumer reporting agency has responsibility to remove it.

Consumer Complaint: I have been trying to get correspondence regarding a repo Jefferson Capital Systems. I do know anything they report to the credit bureaus they must have proof of what they are reporting. The information must be 100 % accurate, 100 % verifiable, and 100 % timely. If they do no this is considered illegal and purposefully harmful. The reporting of this information has hindered me from obtaining credit. I have mailed two letters requesting proof of what they are reporting. Both sent certified mail ( attached ). The letters were hand-delivered to XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, MN XXXX. The first letter was received on XX/XX/XXXX. Since I received no response as a courtesy, I mailed a second letter on XX/XX/XXXX. Both of my letters gave them 15 days to respond. In my letter, I gave the specific language of what should take place if no response. " Please know this is my second time writing you with no response. Please provide me with copies of the legal notices and proof of the commercially reasonable manner of the resale of the vehicle listed. If no proof is provided within 15 days of receipt of this letter, the alleged claim of a deficiency will be considered null and voided and any collection efforts or continued reporting activities of this invalid claim on my credit reports will be considered a violation. Delet this inaccurate account immediately and send me an updated copy of my credit report top the address listed above. '' I am requesting that Jefferson Capital Systems stop reporting this inaccurate information to all three credit bureaus. Thanks for your corporation with this complaint.

Consumer Complaint: This collection was re-inserted on to my credit report after years of not being there, I had previously disputed and had removed being as I do not believe it was ever mine. I was never notified of intent to place as collection on my report and they have not sent any verification to me. I have never received anything in the mail from this collection agency. When I contacted them on the phone they tell me the debt is verified although the company who is the original creditor is XXXX XXXX and I'm a current customer and they tell me that they have no record of me having any other account nor do I owe them anything.
