Ive always paid my bills and do not owe any money to them or XXXX. I am disputing this debt with them and they have failed to send me the information Ive asked for which is to show me the Date I opened an account with XXXX and when the account was closed with the amount I owe to XXXX. Including my signature with the date. They have failed to give me any information only that I owe a debt I need to pay from 2020 which is false.

Consumer Complaint: XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XX/XX/2022 Jefferson Capital System XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX RE : Account # ( XXXX ) To Whom It May Concern : Be advised this is not a refusal to pay, but a notice that your claim is disputed and validation is requested. Under the Fair Debt collection Practices Act ( FDCPA ), I have the right to request validation of the debt you say I owe you. I am requesting proof that I am indeed the party you are asking to pay this debt, and there is some contractual obligation that is binding on me to pay this debt. This is NOT a request for verification or proof of my mailing address, but a request for VALIDATION made pursuant to 15 USC 1692g Sec. 809 ( b ) of the FDCPA. I respectfully request that your offices provide me with competent evidence that I have any legal obligation to pay you. Consumer Complaint: Company filed a wage garnishment through XXXX XXXX ( Nebraska ) in XX/XX/XXXX. The garnishment was paid put of my pay check between XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX. Company is still sending letters calling daily some times XXXX a day. I contacted Company and told them several times this was paid with wage garnishment. Will not listen and trying to threaten me with another wage garnishment for something that was already paid. They refuse to look in their records or do any research and claim its my responsibility to correct their lost paperwork.
