Consumer Complaint: Hello. I completed my first FTC report on XX/XX/23 and submitted it to the credit bureaus as requested. No resolutions have been completed. I began to pull my own credit reports in preparation of obtaining a mortgage to buy my first home. I wanted to make sure there were no inaccuracies. To my surprise, I found several unauthorized and unverifiable inquiries across all XXXX credit bureaus. In accordance with 15 U.S.C. 1681 there should not be any damages on my report and is a defamation of my character and demonstrates that I have requested to apply for credit from companies that I have not. I contacted the creditors directly, the credit bureaus directly and nobody wants to remove them and do the right thing. I created a new FTC report today. This is impacting my ability to provide a home for myself and my children in a timely manner. The resolution desired is to remove all of the inquiries immediately

Consumer Complaint: I have XXXX accounts with Citi Bank. XXXX is a business account and the other a personal account. I received a check from a client for the sum of {$2000.00} ; the check was cleared after some days and I proceeded to utilize some of the funds for business transactions. Today I tried to log into and access my account I saw that I could not view my account online and also same for my business line. I called citi and asked why and they stated that they restricted my business ( LLC ) and personal accounts because of the delay in verifying the check I paid in. I told them I do not have a problem restricting my business account but on what right is my personal account being restricted. They stated that the reason for this restriction is that in case they are not able to clear the business check and my account goes into overdraft, they will need to pull money out of my personal account to clear the deficit. I challenged this reasons for illegality because my personal finance should be separate from my business fiancne. Thats why its classified as an LLC for a reason. Citi continues to resrict access to my personal accounts causing great inconvence on the probability of a check not clearing ( there reason being that that is the first time I was completing mobile deposit on the account ), this is an account I had operated for about 3 years. I am submitting this claim because I do not believe that citi 's action of withholding my personal account is legal.

Consumer Complaint: Citi Bank sent me a billing with charges from XXXX in XXXX Texas on XX/XX/2023. on XXXX charges from XXXX XXXX and XXXX. In repeated recorded conversations I Denied each one of the charges totaling Appx {$6300.00} with Late charges. There were only two charges on the bill of {$1.00} from XXXX that were actually mine! In fact on XX/XX/2023 I sent a check for {$2600.00} paying off the total balance! I got a letter saying the cards EMV chip was used to make the disputed transactions and at a chip enabled card reader. You stated that the card was in your possession so we do not consider this fraudulent activity! I believe they reported it to a credit agency. I got a call from my bank thats was concerned.I got a call from maybe a debt collector saying my score was reduced XXXX points! Other Bankers have told me that they would never have charged these unauthorized charges. I live in Florida and the charges stores in Texas. In fact one of the billings I received used my name and an address in Texas!! I am refusing to pay these charges and Citi-Card keeps trying to collect on the closed accounts. Do I need an attorney to stop this harassment and unethical behavior?

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX, I purchased some XXXX XXXX with the 2-year XXXX coverage ( {$29.00}, price+tax ) as a gift for a relative on XXXX using my XXXX XXXX store credit card, the order total was over {$290.00} so I got a 12-month promotional 0 % APR. I got a text and screenshot from the relative showing that when the XXXX were added to their XXXX device, the XXXX displayed a " Limited Warranty '' and " Eligible to Add XXXX '' even though I already purchased the plan when I ordered it online, so I shouldn't need to purchase again. I contacted XXXX customer service through chat on XX/XX/XXXX ( agent XXXX XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX ( agent XXXX ) to make sure the service plan I purchased was attached to the device. Both agents confirmed that the plan was purchased on the order but was not attached to the device. They recommended I contact the Best Buy XXXX XXXX customer service and provided me with a case number and contract ID for the XXXX.I called on XX/XX/XXXX and got nowhere with the representative, they stated that the person I purchased the XXXX for would not see the service plan since it was attached to my BestBuy email from the order and I'd need to be present at an XXXX Store with them if they ever needed to put in a claim, it made no sense. After the runaround, I filed a dispute with the Best Buy store credit card through Citi on XX/XX/XXXX as my relative purchased the XXXX through the Settings of their device directly through Apple and I needed a refund. On XX/XX/XXXX I got an email from Best Buy " Action Required by XX/XX/XXXX to Activate XXXX '' where it was acknowledged that there was an issue applying the service to the device when they shipped it and if I didn't provide the IMEI or serial number by XX/XX/XXXX I would automatically get a refund to the payment methods. I replied to that email letting whomever know that I would be awaiting the refund and not following the steps since it had been purchased again directly through XXXX to avoid the headache and further mishap. The toll-free phone number the rep from chat suggested on XXXX did not recognize my SSN or credit card to talk with customer service about the refund.

They informed me they had lost my electronically filed complaint and I would now required to file a written hardcopy compaint which I did. On XX/XX/XXXX I again contacted Citibank Mastercard who stated they have no record of any complaint filed before XXXX XXXX, XXXX which is just outside their 6 month time limit for any action on fraudulent credit card losses. I cancelled my credit card in disgust with Citibank 's fraudulent actions regarding my dispute.
