Consumer Complaint: Upon renewing my credit card and paying the {$95.00} fee in XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX I was offered a retention offer to spend {$95.00} in purchase and receive a {$95.00} statement credit. This never posted to my account despite me fulfilling my end of the offer. I have contacted Citi Bank 5 times now, and they refuse to resolve the issue. I have heard complaints of this happening, and I figure they feel I will just eventually give up. Please advise. XXXX XXXX

Consumer Complaint: BILLING ISSUE - Macys Case # XXXX ( 1 ) The TOTAL BALANCE and MINIMUM PAYMENT DUE amounts displayed on my ONLINE statement ( under my online account when you click the Macy 's Credit Card menu option ) are different than the amounts shown on the HARDCOPY statement. This financial and system error has been experienced for months and the financial information displayed is not clear. This could result in payments that are " short '' and lead to payments that are categorized and reported as " late '' to the credit bureaus. This results in negative information being reported by the credit bureaus, decrease of credit, denial of credit. This system error and financial reporting should be corrected immediately. This is the reason why the monthly minimum payments I made in XXXX only satisfied the ONLINE minimum payment due and not the HARDCOPY statement ( minimum payment due ). The financial information being displayed could not be validated. ( 2 ) Please advise which payments in XXXX and XXXX were considered " late '' or " delinquent '' by 30 or more days. Kindly let me know which XXXX and XXXX payments were reported to the credit bureau as greater than 30 days late. I have called Macy 's several times since XX/XX/XXXX to be proactive about shipping, billing, and credit issues with my account ; and to also figure out what my actual TOTAL BALANCE and MINIMUM PAYMENT amounts are. However, this information is still unavailable. I routinely get stuck on the phone for hours with your representatives. Most of the time the call gets disconnected and I am forced to call back and regurgitate the same information. I also reached out to their Credit Services and Executive Office teams in XX/XX/XXXX however I have not received resolution. My Issues : ( a ) My credit limit was decreased with Macy 's and other creditors ( Best Buy/CITI and Goodyear/CITI credit cards ) because of inaccurate and negative reporting submitted by Macy 's to the credit bureaus for my Macy 's account. The negative reporting submitted by Macys are due to system and customer service issues and not the fault of the customer. Macy 's inaccurately reported both late and delinquent payments in XXXX. ( b ) My credit account was closed with other creditors, Best Buy/CITI and Goodyear/CITI credit cards, because of inaccurate and negative reporting submitted by Macy 's to the credit bureaus for my Macy 's account. The negative reporting submitted by Macys are due to system and customer service issues and not the fault of the customer. Macy 's inaccurately reported both late and delinquent payments in XXXX. ( c ) My actual TOTAL BALANCE and MINIMUM MONTHLY PAYMENT amounts could not be validated over the phone or via email by Macy 's staff. ( d ) In light of all the customer service issues with shipping, billing, credit, and call center conversations please advise if a credit can be applied to my account in the amount of $ XXXX as shown on XXXX 's XXXX statement and my CREDIT LIMIT can be increased back to the normal amount of appx {$6000.00}.

Consumer Complaint: An online order was placed on Macys.com using my macys credit card on XX/XX/XXXX. Delivery shows as delivered vis XXXX XXXX XXXXXX/XX/XXXX, USPS XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX XX/XX/XXXX says delivered @ mailbox when no mailbox is in front of the home, they are community mailboxes, XXXX XXXXXX/XX/XXXX, and XXXX but there is no longer tracking available for that. I contacted the Macys online order department and filed a claim explaining the packages were never received and the two items that needed to be picked up at the store were never picked up since they were no longer available. The claim was put in on XX/XX/XXXX, then the claim was denied with no reason given after that I spoke to multiple different people with multiple different departments and the claim kept getting denied, I was told to file a police report which I did and even emailed it to them and still they denied basically saying I still owe the {$400.00}, one explanation I got was that my name was linked to multiple macys online accounts, a long time ago I had a Macys card that was linked to an XXXX email which hasnt been used and then an XXXXXXXX XXXX both those accounts have been deleted but to them it doesnt matter as long as they have a reason to deny, it seems to me they really dont care about their customers at this point. Today XX/XX/XXXX when I called they said to file a claim unfortunately thats not possible because its been more than 60 days and Ive been trying to resolve this with Macys.

I have always made my payments on time except for the month of XX/XX/, and still continue to make payments on time despite account being closed without any reason or notices. I called Citi Card to ask for reason why the account was closed due to it saying closed by Creditor and they said I needed to call the credit bureau. I called Credit Bureau and they told me Citi Card closed the account, and all I can do with them is create a dispute for this action. I received a notice from XXXX that stated that the account was closed due to reaching limit but never made a late payment.

Consumer Complaint: I opened a citi checking account in last year over phone after seeing an sign-up bonus for their checking account of XXXX dollars if I were to deposit {$10000.00} dollars within first 30 days and hold it in the account for the next 60 days. After I fulfilled the condition ( putting in {$10000.00} dollars and holding it in my account for more than 60 days after the first 30 days, I called Citi asking if the condition has indeed been fulfilled. The rep answered in the affirmative and that I can withdraw the cash now the condition has been fulfilled, he explained that I am not seeing the sign up bonus probably due to the fact that I perhaps have a missing form ( I can not recall what form it is ) and that I will be sent it through mail. It has been more than 2 months after that interaction and I still have not received my XXXX dollars of sign up bonus, nor have I received the form. And Citi has removed mentions of the sign up bonus from its website.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX, I made an online payment to Costco Anywhere Visa credit card by Citibank. In the process, instead of intended payment amount of {$3200.00}, I mistakenly processed payment of {$32000.00}. I called Citibank and requested a refund, but Citibank has been extremely unreasonable. They tell me that it could take weeks for the fund to be cleared. The paying bank debited ( paid from ) my account immediately so I am puzzled by Citibank 's response. 12 days later, on XX/XX/XXXX, I called them again and after spending over an hour on the phone, one the Citibank managers confirmed that the {$32000.00} was cleared, and promised to expedite the refund request. Citibank could have contacted me sooner, and we could have called the issuing bank together much faster, but Citibank did not call me. On XX/XX/XXXX, I am told that the refund via ACH to the linked bank account has been approved. Right now is XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX on XXXX and Citibank has not yet posted debit transaction for refund in my credit card statement. Citibank constantly blames receiving bank, saying " it can take a few days to show refund '' when Citibank did not process the refund yet. The negative balance is {$24000.00} as of XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. I am beyond furious, and this practice is absolutely unacceptable.

I was enrolled in a promotion that required I make a deposit with 30 days, then hold the funds for an additional 60 days to receive a {$750.00} bonus. On XX/XX/XXXX, within 30 days from opening the account, my account balance reached {$20000.00}. I maintained that balance through beyond the following 60 days, per the terms. The terms stipulated that the bonus would be paid within one month, following the end of the month in which I met the terms, which was XXXX.
