Consumer Complaint: I opened a business checking account with Citi Bank on XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, CA XXXX to receive a promotional bonus of {$700.00} for depositing {$25000.00} and maintaining the balance for agreed timeline. See attached flyer. My wife and I both opened the same type of account and neither one of us received the bonus, a total of {$1400.00}. My wife submitted a complaint with you moments ago. I too called and emailed XXXX XXXX at the branch, but I haven't heard back from her or anyone at the branch. The customer service line could not help me either. I have met all required qualifications and confirmed with the banker XXXX XXXX to keep a balance of minimum {$5000.00} until the bonus is paid. It's been our practice that my wife would contact XXXX for both of our accounts. With that, I left a balance of {$5000.00} to avoid monthly maintenance fee. See attached email that my wife received from XXXX regarding that. The bonus was due by the end of XX/XX/2023. My last contact to Citi was XX/XX/2023. I haven't heard back from anyone. We moved out of state and can not visit the branch as easily as we could before.

I called the customer service line, and they too tried to contact the branch and no success getting a hold of anyone. I was told by the customer service that only the branch who offered the bonus can open an investigation. My last contact to Citi was XX/XX/2023. I haven't heard back from anyone. This is the second time that the Citi Bank XXXX CA XXXX not paying the bonus as agreed and within the timeline they agreed to pay.

Consumer Complaint: I received 4 letters from my Citibank with the same writing and reference number ( XXXX ) regarding my 4 accounts there, and it says based on our policy we reserve the right to close your accounts at any time and they gave me till XXXX to move my money before they close my accounts. Two of my accounts are 12 month CD which if I close them have to pay penalties for that reason I called Citibank to let them know that they want to close my account I should not get charged since is not my choice, but they are insisting to charge me for early withdraw. To me is a kind of fraud to keep the customer money for several month and for no reason force them to close it and charge them too. today I spoke to their agent and his supervisor both did not give me their full name just the first name XXXX and XXXX and the number I called XXXX my branch address Citibank XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, ca XXXX

Consumer Complaint: Macys credit card has damaged my credit, charges unnecessary interest charges on XXXX balances and reported 30 days late to my credit report without notifying me of the issue. I opened a new bank account and updated my auto pay on XX/XX/XXXX. My payment for XX/XX/XXXX was shown as paid and when checking my balance on XX/XX/XXXX I saw there was suddenly no auto payment set up. I contacted the company right away to find out why this happened. They had also charged me over {$87.00} in fees and interest. The company advised me that the auto pay did not go through and could not provide explanation as to why my auto pay was suddenly canceled or why I was not notified that there was a problem with my auto payment. When viewing my statements there is also no missed payment shown for XXXX. Upon reviewing my credit report in XX/XX/XXXX I found Macys had reported an over 30 days late payment for the auto pay error however the payment had in fact been paid for XX/XX/XXXX and was not over 30 days late when I discovered the issue XX/XX/XXXX to resolve it. I would like this removed from my credit and the interest and fees refunded. I also noticed on several occasions- the most recent XX/XX/XXXX Macys has randomly charged interest on {$0.00} balance. This is sneaky business practice trying to steal money with random interest or fees and without notifying the consumer of the problem. Macys also reduced my credit limit as a result of this error and my credit score dropped XXXX points damaging my credit reputation erroneously.
