Consumer Complaint: I made a Credit Card balance transfer from Citi Bank to XXXX XXXX XXXX in XX/XX/2023 as I was trying to take advantage of a no interest promotion for 2 years being offered by XXXX XXXX XXXX. I made the transfer using the camera feature for the transfer on XX/XX/2023 but the funds never reached my XXXX XXXX XXXX card. The amount in question is {$4500.00}. This amount is already being charged onto my Citibank XXXX account although there is no objective evidence that the {$4500.00} dollars expected from this transaction was ever credited between Citibank and XXXX XXXX XXXX. I have spoken multiple times with Citibank and XXXX XXXX XXXX on this issue but no Corrective Action has been taken. With Citibank alone I spoke with three different supervisors identified as XXXX ID # XXXX and XXXX ID # XXXX and a Third one named XXXX. Two case ID 's were opened on my behalf XXXX and XXXX but no additional follow up from either Bank has been conducted and no attempt from either Bank Institutions to mitigate noted discrepancy. XXXX XXXX XXXX provided me with case number XXXX but nothing is happening. I desperately need your help as time is of the essence. thanks

Consumer Complaint: I am a XXXX XXXX and due to XXXX XXXX and strain I became overwhelmed in my position during the XXXX of XXXX. I met with my manager on different forms of XXXX XXXX XXXX that were open to me which eventually lead to me having to leave my position. I still had a family to care for so I contacted another XXXX team for a position. As i started working there issues with race and bullying became an issue and after a month I lost my income due to a hostile environment and racism ; this was XX/XX/XXXX. It turned out the effects of my employment, diet, and stress of not being able to provide for my family took a toll on my body and I became very ill with XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. I contacted all of my creditors because I wanted my credit to remain at least fair during this time. I was told by them all, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and Citibank that they would work with me and asked what i could pay, they updated my accounts on my condition or so I was told. I tried the minimal but I didn't have enough income coming in. There was no XXXX or holiday season for me or my family but we were happy I was still alive. I contacted them all once again in XX/XX/XXXX and was told my accounts would be on something like a forbearance hold until I could pay and not report my accounts until I could get back on my feet, I was told they would update my accounts. Three creditors asked how long it would be before i could pay again and I gave an estimated 3 to 4 months because I lost my health insurance and had to find a provider that would take Medicaid to help with my conditions and possible procedures needed. I changed my eating habits/diet, exercised, and lost XXXX lbs. within 2 months. I continued to communicate with my creditors and even applied for XXXX but it was only enough to barely pay my rent. I applied for TANF/General Assistance and EBT for food but was denied because I wasn't employed. I eventually found a provider an hour away which was good but my XXXX procedure was only able to be performed a month out in XXXX on the XXXX in XXXX. I was patient. XXXX was still providing. I looked for new employment positions because I was falling far behind and I had a XXXX XXXX and going to XXXX that I had to prepare for. I found the position which was {$2.00} over minimum wage at XXXX XXXX, a block away from my home, and started a week after my XXXX procedure on XX/XX/XXXX in training with less than 30 hours. I was supposed to go slow ; I wasn't pulling or moving much and I had stents in my sides but I needed the funds. I contacted my creditors to update them on my employment but found out it was too late for some by this time, they had reported my accounts at least 30 days past due and closed them after they told me they wouldn't. I have no idea how to get my credit repaired or pay bills. I'm constantly getting calls from collection agencies but don't give my information. XXXX XXXX worked with me and started a payment plan for XX/XX/XXXX with no interest or fees. That gave me hope but my credit is now shot. I am not financially stable with this new position but I could've made payments and at least wanted to get back on my feet to good credit and health. Please can you help? I just found out about Consumer Finance.

Consumer Complaint: In XXXX and XXXX of XXXX I made a series of balance transfers to my Citibank credit card totaling {$5600.00} ( including fees ). At this time, Citi had offered me a promotional 0 % apr on transferred balances through XX/XX/XXXX. In XXXX I added an additional fixed-repayment balance of {$6600.00}, something Citibank markets XXXX a " flex loan. '' This " flex loan '' balance is and was subject to an apr of 9.99 %. My most recent statement, dated XX/XX/XXXX, confirms that the promotional apr rate for transferred balances expired on XX/XX/XXXX. At this time the apr for the transferred balances increased to 21.49 %. I made a payment on XX/XX/XXXX for {$5300.00}. According to Citi, this was the amount that I needed to pay to satisfy the minimum due on my account for that statement period and pay off the remaining balance from the balance transfers made in XXXX and XXXX. On the Citi website, this figure is described as the " adjusted new balance '' ( not really a new balance this case ). The amount of the payment I made in excess of minimum due ( {$190.00} for this statement cycle ) should have been allocated to the highest apr balance ( 21.49 % ). My statement from XX/XX/XXXX indicates instead that the payment was allocated entirely to the " flex '' balance at 9.99 % apr, contrary to both Citi 's stated policies and federal law. As of this statement, I still have a {$5000.00} balance at 24.49 % apr and I was charged interest at this rate for the 8 days from XXXX to XXXX. I reached out to Citi on XX/XX/XXXX via online chat to ask them to correct the misallocated payment. The chat agent acknowledged that Citi 's handling of the payment was contrary to federal law but stated that their system allocates payments automatically. He declined to correct the mistake, stating there was nothing he could do on his end. I find Citi 's behavior here to be predatory and I have a hard time believing that Citi hasn't deliberately set their system up to yield this exact result, given that they stand to gain a great deal of money in higher interest charges from these types of " mistakes. ''

Issue: Incorrect information on your report
Subissue: Account information incorrect
Consumer Complaint: Date account opened on my report from citi cards is innacurate. I do not have original contract but would like to request, balance is incorrect on both and without my original contract I need this to be verified because there are innacuracies scattered throughout my creditor and collections ( both of which are still on my report ). Supposedly citicards sold my debt to XXXX in XXXX but continued to report and raise my balance all the way up until they closed it XXXX of XXXX. So the original creditor and supposed collection agency they sold it to were both reporting and raising the balances for years. I moved states early in the pandemic and haven't had contact with either of them and when I went to check my credit recently I was shocked with all of the innacurate info on my report. I would like citibank to verify my original credit limit, the date the account was opened, a good excuse as to why they just closed an account XX/XX/XXXX that they sent to collections in XXXX. Citi the original creditor continued to add an innacurate balance for years. XXXX continues to add collections and i would like them to send the original contract with the APR on contract to see if they have overcharged interest over the years. I sent validation letters 2 months ago when this came to my attention with no luck and with the original creditor reporting to the agencies on something they supposedly sold 3 years ago with multiple innacuracies such as date opened, balance and not showing as charged off its a little confusing on who owns what. It doesn't make sense that an original creditor can keep something open with so many innacuracies after selling debt to collections for years and citi still showing good standing and closed due to inactivity is beyond me
