Consumer Complaint: I opened a Wayfair Mastercard account near the end of XXXX and used it to buy a couch. I paid it off almost immediately and completely forgot about the card, until I received an email in early XXXX saying I owed hundreds of dollars in late fees and interest because of an obviously fraudulent charge ( it literally took a 3 second XXXX search to see that I'm not the only one to experience this particular fraud ). After letting the company know of the fraudulent charge and letting them know I was not going to pay anything under any circumstances, they called me almost daily until I blocked their number. I repeatedly informed them I would not be calling them, as I did not have time to waste solving a problem that wasn't mine because they couldn't type something into XXXX. They reversed the fraudulent charge but kept all the late fees and interest for some inscrutable reason and ended up closing my account after some time. I requested they correct my credit report, which they have still failed to do.

Consumer Complaint: I paid {$41.00} for a minimum payment on XX/XX/XXXX and {$47000.00} for tthe whole posted balance on XX/XX/XXXX for XX/XX/XXXX XXXX, which has {$400.00} of a new balance due XX/XX/XXXX. But I was charged {$8.00} for " interest charged to standard purchase '' on XX/XX/XXXX XXXX ( see my XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX Statements ). I asked them how to calculate their interest charged at {$8.00} for one day delay with the remaining balance at {$360.00} and standard puchase interest rate at 20.24 %. They rejected. I claimed it was a fraud. I attempted to file a complaint in their internal web site online, but XXXX XXXX XXXX does not work though listed there. Their receptionist refused to help.

Issue: Problem with a purchase shown on your statement
Subissue: Credit card company isn't resolving a dispute about a purchase on your statement
Consumer Complaint: On XXXX XXXX XXXX I purchased a dress at a store which unbeknownst to me had a broken zipper. I immediately tried to return it, same day, and the merchant refused to help. They are an unscrupulous business. The woman working there do not speak english, and were nasty, and embarrassed me. This is in response to Citibank 's resolution of the dispute of {$59.00} at XXXX XXXX which is not in my favor. I have already submitted to Citibank in detail the nature of and reason for my dispute for the charge of {$59.00}, which was for a dress I was sold with a broken zipper. I have already attempted to no avail to return the dress to the business on XXXX XXXX XXXX which was the date of purchase. I will no longer engage in any further communication or interaction of any kind with this business either in person or by phone. Nor will I ever set foot in this business again. Firstly, there is a language barrier. Secondly, I will not lower myself again in an attempt to persuade or prevail upon non-English speaking individuals who see me as a nuisance and a joke at my expense. Individuals who have taunted and humiliated me within earshot and in front of other customers. It is not possible to reason with the unreasonable and unyielding. I have been a cardholder with Citibank for 12 years. I do not have a history of opening frivolous disputes over purchases using this card. With that all being said, I do expect my credit card company to support and protect me from unscrupulous business and their senseless policies. My dispute is about being sold a damaged item where the damage wasn't visible or obvious until after I purchased it. I simply wouldn't have made this purchase had I clearly seen the damage beforehand. The dress is unwearable as it is, unless I invest more money to have it repaired by a tailor. At my discretion and preference, I will not pay additional money to have the dress made wearable. This dispute should have been resolved in my favor weeks ago and Citibank has allowed it to continue.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXXXXXX I contacted Citibank about an unauthorized transaction performed on my account. I advised them {$580.00} was debited from my account on XX/XX/XXXXXXXX which was not authorized by me. The entity the withdrawal was sent to per my checking account record was XXXX CA. I advised them I have a record of all my transactions using XXXX XXXX and this transfer was not found. I also advised them I spoke to XXXX XXXX and they agreed it was not a transaction done by my XXXX XXXX account and to contact my bank to dispute the charge. Citibank them sent me a letter dated XX/XX/XXXXXXXX stating they conducted an investigation and they did not have enough info to support the claim in my favor. I then faxed them an appeal letter with copies of my XXXX XXXX transaction record which showed no activity on that date or any for that amount, along with a copy of my ciibank record showing the transaction. I then received another letter on XX/XX/XXXXXXXX from citbank saying Thank you for your inquiry and that they attached the previous letter they sent me for my review.

Consumer Complaint: XXXX XX/XX/2023 : Best Buy Credit Card ( Citibank ) statement included fraudulent purchase of three digital e-gift cards totaling {$500.00} : - XXXX XXXX XXXX. {$200.00} - XXXX. {$200.00} - XXXX XXXX. {$100.00} On the same day I received three emails from " XXXX XXXX from Best Buy '' with links to the e-gift cards that I presumably purchased. I did not purchase these e-gift cards. Called the Citibank customer support center ( XXXX ) the same day to report the fraudulent purchases. Cancelled the credit card and was re-issued a replacement. Consumer Complaint: I requested funds be distributed from my 'XXXX XXXX XXXX account ' to my 'XXXX XXXX XXXX IRA account ' on XX/XX/2023. I sent wire transfer instruction for this to be done however a paper check was issued instead. This has caused my money, which is {$26000.00}, to completely disappear. The physical check was cut and mailed on XX/XX/2023 to Citibank XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, NY XXXX and deposited there at that location on XX/XX/2023 ( I have a copy of the cleared check ). The wire instructions had the funds being funneled through Citibank and into a XXXX XXXX account. This did not happen. Not only do I not have an account at Citibank the account number that was listed on the distribution check ( which I have a copy of as well ) had a XXXX XXXX 's wire account number listed and the funds did not get deposited there either. To sum this up, Citibank deposited a check that was issued to me XXXX XXXX ' with a XXXX XXXX XXXX account number ' listed and rather than depositing the funds into that account number or returning the funds to the sender, they were deposited into Citibank leaving me with no access to my retirement money. I've had zero gains on this money for over 30 days day and everyday that the money isn't in my Roll Over IRA I am losing money.
