Consumer Complaint: Electrical work service completed on XX/XX/XXXX, deposit of {$2500.00} paid on XX/XX/XXXX and {$5000.00} payment towards paid-in-full invoice paid XX/XX/XXXX - partial payments made with Capital One credit card. XX/XX/XXXX - Electrician company mailed a letter that the work was incomplete and permit was still opened. I called the City of XXXX to confirm the open permit and received the Inspection Report- the electrical work failed inspection XXXX times : XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX/XXXX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX. Demand Letter sent to Merchant on XX/XX/XXXX, Second Notice Demand Letter sent to Merchant on XX/XX/XXXX, and Final Formal Demand for Documentation and Resolution sent to Merchant on XX/XX/XXXX. Initial Demand Letter requested a response from the Merchant to the demand for refund within 30 days due to incomplete and unsatisfactory nature of work, the inconvenience I have experienced due to the delayed completion, and the expenses incurred as a result of the failed inspections. Merchant did not provide a response that addressed the demand for refund by the deadline of XX/XX/XXXX. Contacted Captial One on XX/XX/XXXX file a chargeback claim for both credit card charges of {$2500.00} and {$5000.00}. Both claims were not processed due to different reasons for both claims even though they were in the same timeframe and for the same electrical service completed on XX/XX/XXXX. Captial One was stating that a photo of returned materials to the merchant was needed and the cases were closed - a photo of electrical services can not show how services are used to repair breaker boxes. I explained to Capital One that I was not aware of the incomplete electrical work services that I paid for until XX/XX/XXXX when the electrician company mailed me a letter about the permit still being open. I contacted the merchant via demand letter sent on XX/XX/XXXX with a 30-day deadline to process the refund before filing the chargeback with Capital One on XX/XX/XXXX. I escalated both claims with a manager of the Dispute & Claims department.

Consumer Complaint: This is the 2nd complaint that I have filed regarding the same issue. Approx. 3 months ago I filed a dispute with Capital One in the amount of XXXX on or about XXXX XXXX, XXXX, I provided Capitol One with all of the information that they requested to support my dispute. I went as far as to provide the manifest from the auction site that clearly shows the amount for this auction was inflated to mislead the bidders of the true value of the merchandise. Furthermore, when I received the merchandise there were missing items, and almost all items were damaged and had no value. In XX/XX/XXXX Capital One responded to my 1st complaint with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, stating that my original dispute had been denied and then I reopened it. That is a false statement, I was never notified that a decision had been made on my dispute. The last communication I received was in XX/XX/XXXX when I requested an update, stating that there was no update because it was still under investigation. Capital One for whatever reason has not given my dispute the attention it deserved. I have lost all confidence in Capitol One. I am also requesting this complaint be forwarded to other regulatory agencies for their review.

Consumer Complaint: I seen online where you could contact the credit card company and request financial help when it comes to making payments or request a settlement or them to drop the interest rate for a year to help their customers pay back the balance owed. They refuse to help me and I am a single mom that is struggling. They have already lost me as a customer because when I first got the card and it was strictly through Walmart I NEVER had this problem. I am paying over the minimum amount and getting charge half back in interest which will make the balance impossible to pay back. I have been paying on my balance since LAST XXXX and my balance has not changed hardly at all and I have not used my card at all because I've been trying to pay it off.

Consumer Complaint: Yes this company could not provide verification of debt. They have me settled for deletion and has it reporting inaccurately on my credit report. My initial dispute was detailed and directly related to the account in question. A template response will not be an acceptable response. If you can not supply ALL of the above information in a timely manner as detailed in several laws, including but not limited to the Fair Credit Reporting Act, I must immediately demand the permanent removal of this item from my credit report. This erroneous entry is detrimental to my overall credit rating and has caused me severe financial and emotional distress. If you choose not to provide the above-requested deletion or requested/required documentation of your investigation, I will pursue the enforcement of my constitutional rights via federal court proceedings. As you are well aware this information will come out through my formal discovery process and necessary depositions. I have recently studied constitutional consumer protection laws along with civil/federal court procedures. I will represent myself pro-se and will formally request a jury trial. Here is a list of inaccuracies that were claimed verified.
