Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2022, I was charged {$410.00} from XXXX for a taxi cab ride in XXXX XXXX XXXX This is a fraud charge. I am disputing the amount of my taxi drive. I did not authorize a {$8000.00} XXXX pesos taxi ride. It was an {$800.00} XXXX pesos drive which should've been about $ 35-40, not {$410.00}. I could not contact the merchant because it was a taxi driver. I do not have their information. I called Capital One right after I got out of the taxi and saw the amount in my email alerts and I was informed that I could not dispute until the transaction was posted. I was diligent with this fraud transaction from the beginning and followed everything I was told by Capital One. Upon looking at the receipt the merchant sent, I never signed to authorize this purchase like I said in my initial dispute. That is not my signature on that receipt, this is fraud. Nothing about that signature looks like my name ( XXXX XXXX or even any letters in my name. The receipt provided by the merchant is also not legitimate taxi ride receipt. It does not show the miles driven or anything that a taxi driver would have. This driver scammed me and probably used one of those XXXX XXXX to overcharge me. Capital One will not help me with further escalating this case. Please help me.

Consumer Complaint: I had a credit card with Capital One for many years but have not been using it recently due to their low credit line and high interest rate. After many months of not logging into my account, I was logged into the app and it asked me to update my income, to which I did. I did not request a credit line increase nor did I inquire about any other type of credit. I only provided the requested income information which I know is typical for a credit card company to verify. A couple of days later I received an alert that Capital One did a hard pull credit inquiry on my credit, which I did not authorize. I called Capital One immediately and they denied any involvement in doing this and said they don't see anything on their end. I was told to send a letter ( through US Mail ) to dispute it. I was very aggravated that this company did this and then lied about doing it and denied any involvment, that I decided to close my account with them. Over the next few days, I received alerts from multiple credit reporting and monitoring websites ( XXXX XXXX, XXXX, XXXX, XXXX, XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX ) verifying that Capital One did in fact pull my credit and this lowered my score. I am in the planning stages of a business investment and this now reflects that I am preemptively shopping for credit to which I am not. I called the fraud dept of Capital One yesterday and they said they can not do anything, I need to call the credit bureaus. I called XXXX and they said I need to call the company that pulled it and ask for it to be removed. No one is accepting responsibility or helping me get this resolved. These companies should not be allowed to get away with this type of behavior. I want the inquiry removed from my credit.

Consumer Complaint: I recently reviewed my credit report and noticed that the account I had with Captial One Auto loan is marked incorrectly and with Negative charge off! I paid off this loan entirely! I submitted my dispute letters to all the credit bureaus and Capital one ( see enclosed ) and they clearly violated my rights as a consumer. I paid this loan off since XX/XX/2021. This has caused defamation to my creditworthiness, credit standing, credit capacity, CAPITAL ONE was required to notify me no later than 5 days before furnishing the negative information to the consumer reporting agencies, in writing. This notification is required under the FCRA, section 623, subsection ( 7 ) ( A ). However, I never received documentation. I requested the statement of accounting so they can prove i still owe them because i have my proof of payment. This charge off is inaccurate and needs to be removed immediately and marked as PAID IN FULL!

Consumer Complaint: I have a Credit Card with Capital One ( Card Ending with XXXX ) and have a 0 % Balance Transfer. On my Statement, I can see the " Promo Purchase in Grace '', along with Percentage Rate ( 0.00 % ) Balance Subject to Interest Rate, and interest Charged ( 0.00 % ) Nowhere does it show the Expiration Date of this Promo Balance. I have looked online at my billing statement, as well as my paper copy. I have called EVERY MONTH after receiving my statement and explain the same complaint to no avail. Every other Card shows when the promotion expires, which leads me to the belief, that Capital One hopes that date will be MISSED They have no problem supplying the following information Previous Balance Payments Other Credits Transactions XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX for XXXX XXXX As well as Payment Due Date New Balance Interest Saver Payment Minimum Payment Due. I have spoken to Representatives, Supervisors and they all agree that this is an issue, yet No One can do anything about it.
