Consumer Complaint: In XX/XX/2023 I contacted Capital one, requested information about travel benefits. I was advised that I was eligible for the TSA-check benefit for me my spouse and my children as long as I use my quicksilver card. I booked my travel through Capital One and I did my TS pre-check and use my Capital One quicksilver card as instructed. When I received my statement I noticed I did not get credit for the TSA charges contacted customer service they told me they were sorry but my card was not eligible for this benefit. I asked three times to speak to a supervisor for my call to be reviewed and for capital one to honor the information I was given by one of their employees in XXXX. I was advised that was not possible and neither was a credit therefore I am contacting CFPB because I believe Ive been giving wrong information and capital one will not correct their error Ive been a long time customer and Ive never had a problem with Capital One until this incident thank you.

Consumer Complaint: This is about one of Capital One 's Extension - Capital One Shopping. I have purchased things using the Capital One 's Extension ( Well over XXXX USD ) during XXXX XXXX. I had a total of XXXX USD in rewards. I have used XXXX USD to redeem giftcards however they held the gift cards and said that they will release them after 90 days. The following email was sent below. " Unfortunately, it is taking a little longer than expected to process your e-gift card redemption. Due to a high number of XXXX purchases, your Shopping Rewards are currently on hold. Although your current rewards balance covers the cost of those e-gift cards, your rewards will remain pending until the merchant 's return or cancellation window ends. If there are any returns or modifications made to the order, your Shopping Rewards will be reversed. Typically, rewards can be on hold for up to 90 days. This verification period varies by retailer ( the merchant associated with the Shopping Reward issuance, not that of the e-gift card ). As soon as your current Shopping Rewards balance is confirmed, your e-gift card order will be processed. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding. '' After waiting the full 90 DAYS. I expected the gift cards to be released however 95 days have been elapsed and I sent them another email asking for support and they have sent me the same exact message above. I sent another email after that explaining that it has been 90 days and I yet again, received the same EXACT email above. 10 Days later they just suddenly blocked my account and said my account was closed for suspicious activity after I tried to contact them. I still had around XXXX in rewards sitting on my account and they suddenly closed it. I have reviewed the TOS and I breached no legalities. It is basically fraud to promise something and then close an account for no apparent reason. I have tried emailing and contacting the company to no avail. Every response was just automated copy and paste. My account email was XXXX XXXX
