Consumer Complaint: Capital One, XXXX Capital One, XXXX, VA, XXXX, XXXX Capital One, Credit Dispute Department, XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX, UT, XXXX Ive contacted this company numerous times for reporting inquires to the credit bureau that I did not authorize and that they are unable to find an application for. The date of the inquiry is shown in my reports is XX/XX/2023 @ XXXX EST. The company said that they do not have any of my information on file & would fix the discrepancy within 30 days. It has been well over of 60 days and the inquiries that I did not authorize or apply for are still appearing on my credit reports. Consumer Complaint: I filing this complaint in dispute of a late fee that was applied to my Kohl 's account in error. I have NEVER been late on this account or any account for that matter. I initially disputed this in XXXX, contacted all 3 credit bureaus and the matter was resolved. Now I received another late fee in error. On XX/XX/XXXX I received a late fee of {$29.00}, I made a payment online on XX/XX/23 for {$190.00} after trying many times through the automated system to make a payment with no prevail. The payment was reversed without being notified. I was not aware of this happening until I received an alert of my credit scores dropping and saw another late fee applied on XX/XX/23. I contacted Kohl 's several times and talked to many customer service reps and supervisors for days, XXXX I made a payment of {$190.00} and {$80.00} of late fees were adjusted off of the account as well as the late payment remark. During this time I opened disputes with all 3 credit bureaus to have the late payment removed from my account since the late payment and chargers were removed from Kohl 's account. This was resolved and my score returned to normal with all 3 bureaus. I had a credit of {$35.00} on my account and no payments owed. Now another late payment was reported for the same issue that was resolved the previous month.

Consumer Complaint: Got a XXXX dollar check on the XXXX, deposited it. Got a notification everything was fine, deposit went through, and after they processed it, they froze the account. I called they told me they had to verify with the account holder of the check, that was fine, I get it. However, after calling their fraud department twice, the first time they told me it was too late to fix it, and they second time they were unable to call her. apparently they can not verify people with some cellphone carriers, in this case its cricket. She called her bank, then she called capital one and they said we just had to be on the phone together. I then tried to call both their numbers, the fraud and customer service number and they blocked my phone. I have contacted the attorney general, filed a complaint with the state of Michigan. I am trying to buy a house and this might cause me to lose that option. Please help me.

Consumer Complaint: To who it may concern, I am requesting that 13 late payments for the account ending in XXXX be deleted from my credit report ASAP. I communicated with Capital One regarding my unemployment status between XXXX. Capital one refused to work with me during my hardship and now my credit has negatively been impacted. Upon gainful employment, I paid my account off in full, however Capital one is refusing to delete the late payments. The law states that at no point should there be a late payment reporting to my consumer report & should not include any transactions or experiences between me the consumer and any person making a report. I never gave any consent for these alleged transactions. These are clear violations of my consumer rights under 15 U.S. Code 1681a, 15 U.S. Code 1681a1 and also 15 U.S. Code 1666b/ Please reverse these late payments from my consumer report and update this account as soon as possible. Consumer Complaint: I am submitting this complaint to express my frustration and disappointment with the way my account has been handled by Capital One and XXXXDEPT OF ED. Despite never being late on any payment and diligently communicating with the creditor and the credit bureaus, my credit report contains inaccurate and damaging information that has affected my ability to obtain credit and loans at reasonable rates. Specifically, my credit report shows that I have been late on payments or have not paid my account, which is not true. I have always made payments on time and have evidence to support that, including bank statements and payment receipts. Moreover, I have sent multiple letters to the credit bureaus and the creditor, disputing the inaccurate information and requesting that it be removed or corrected. However, to date, no action has been taken to rectify the situation, and my credit report continues to reflect false information. This situation has caused me significant stress and inconvenience, as I have been denied credit and have had to pay higher interest rates due to the inaccurate information on my credit report. I believe that the creditor has violated my rights under the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ) and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau 's ( CFPB ) regulations, and I request that the CFPB investigate this matter and take appropriate enforcement action to ensure that the creditor complies with the law. Consumer Complaint: Disputed {$600.00} charge from XX/XX/XXXX from Full XXXX. We were sent all the wrong colored tshirts and sweatshirts we ordered and merchant just argued with us. I disputed it with Capital One for many weeks. They came back to say we were already given a partial refund from this company ( {$250.00} ). This refund was for a separate transaction with Full Spectrum. We cancelled screenprinting on another order after we received this bad order. Then Capital One removes the refund the merchant gave us and charged it back to our card. We are now owed a refund of the {$600.00} + {$250.00} PLUS INTEREST I have faxed 10+ times back and forth and they will not help me. I have many, many pages on this.
