Consumer Complaint: I called in to Capital One on XX/XX/2023 to make sure that I got credited by XXXX XXXX XXXX for time I wasn't going to be there that I paid for in advance. Capital One then canceled the entire payment. this was the beginning of the employee fraud written employee fraud. Of this card. Case # XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX While I was in XXXX XXXX I used my Capital One credit card ending in XXXX at the XXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX California, that transaction debited my XXXX XXXX checking account. my card ending in XXXX got violated immediately after I gave XXXX XXXX my card numbers. I called into XXXX XXXX the next day when I saw the money from my checking account deducted after using my Capital One card ending in XXXX I called XXXX XXXX and reported the fraud as soon as I saw it in my checking account. XXXX XXXX is still investigating that transaction. after that I relocated to another monthly rental that was advertised thru XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. There was child trafficking physical violence, drugs as well as vehicle vandalism and property theft and vandalism going on inside the XXXX. this XXXX was advertised as having no pets no children it was high-end professional atmosphere. that place was nothing like that XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX I called in to Capital One said I was leaving and I'm not paying the bill for that place. I called the police child protective services dod XXXX assault hotline and the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX I experienced at that property. I reported the hosts to kaw enforcement. XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX properties. Additionally the amount XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXs higher than what Capital one credited my card ending in XXXX. I have excluded communication with XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX to show that the credit should have never been XXXX. XXXX I have more than 9 dispute letters for this one file. I called into capitalone more than 20 times to resolve this. File XXXX. I am so mad what they did to my account I can not speak to them without yelling. XXXX XXXX has frozen all transactions with capitalone to ky account and put a fraud alert on capitalone. And I have frozen my credit reporting accounts as requested by XXXX XXXX.

I immediately contacted Capital One, after I confirmed with XXXX that my credit was indeed locked and inquiries are frozen and can not be obtain, and learned that indeed someone at capital One opened an account under my name and SSN. When inquired about what type of account, how and what information was used to verify and authenticate the person that performed such task, I was that information can not be provided and I should contact the credit bureaus. I am deeply concerned about capital ones efforts and processes that led to such account opening under my information.

Scamming me by using a system called double dipping. They are going into my XXXX XXXX XXXX and then sending me a statement asking me to pay again. I also explained in the letter definition on what different words were they were using making me think a statement was a bill or debt ( XXXX XXXX XXXX ) I received a letter bank on saying they do not accept the coupon for payment. They already had close my account and sent to collection. and messed up my credit

Consumer Complaint: The closed capital one bank on my account needs to be deleted immediately. They have reported the account as charged off bad debt in which in return I never received a XXXX from the company. This account was also previously involved in litigation which has resulted in the judge dismissing the case for the amount that is being reported as owed. Capital one is also still reporting to XXXX late payments however transunion is not showing anything, in addition to the fact the account has been reported closed and charged off by creditor since XXXX so the company is illegally reporting late payments. Due to the inaccurate reporting of several things on this account that Ive tried to resolve with the other credit bureaus I request an immediate deletion of all information from this account/creditor.

I spent more than XXXX hours on the phone with various people at Capital One NONE of them could explain how or why this had happened. I also received a notification email from XXXX about the inquiry for credit. I immediately contacted the ( 3 ) main credit bureaus to report a fraud alert ; I contacted Capital One, which they stated they would send the application for credit to their fraud department ; and I submitted a police report online. XXXX Credit Bureau stated for me to still contact FTC and make the report, which is why I am providing this information. All three credit bureaus do have a fraud alert on the accounts for one year.
