Consumer Complaint: Since XXXX of this year, I have been looking to buy a home for myself and my sick uncle. When I reviewed my credit report, I realized that I have several damages on it. I have no knowledge of a few of these accounts, so on XX/XX/XXXX, I sent dispute letters to the credit bureaus, in an attempt to remove the fraudulent items from my report, with no success. When XX/XX/XXXX arrived, once again I sent dispute letters to the credit bureaus. This time, one account was deleted, but it was one that had been closed for over 10 years. Ive been doing a little research, and according to the 15 U.S.C 1681 Law, there should be no damages on my report, because its a defamation of my character. Im just trying to obtain a better living space for my uncle and me, and I cant do that because of these negative items.

Consumer Complaint: I seen charges on my account from XXXX I reached out to XXXX they told me they could not help me to contact my bank. I called my Capital One explain there were charges to XXXX I did not sue. Explain my identity was stolen I made police reports and the report through FTC. I then got a email stating they denied it. I called the bank they said they never got my emails sent them I sent over 3 times to the email address they gave me. I also notice when they put in the dispute they did not do all XXXX so then they open a separate claim. My claim was denied cause of other XXXX charges and IP address that is not mine. I sent them everything showing not my IP address sent 2 police reports also sent where someone open a credit card in my name and used XXXX there to and that card was in my favor. It makes no sense why one place says they were fraud and the other dont. I have explain on XXXX to XXXX the sup that there fraud department is not looking into this right. That those others charges were on a different claim and thats not my IP address. And there bank no matter what you send in to show its fraud denies the claim. I did everything I was suppose to do. They refuse to reopen the claim. I am told to call XXXX I said XXXX sent me a letter they will not talk to me or help me which I sent them the letter. I dont feel this bank helps the consumer with fraud. I have called last week and spoke to 2 supervisors and was told I would get a call in 48 hours never did. I ask for corporate office I am told they dont have a phone number. Based on laws I look up they are under violation there fraud department is not looking into this matter the right way. I had a total of XXXX charges of {$2400.00} My social security and driver license have been compromised. I have attach my documents supporting these transactions were fraud.

Issue: Managing the loan or lease
Subissue: Billing problem
Consumer Complaint: Complaint Number XXXX On XX/XX/XXXX, I began an auto loan transfer to Capital One Auto Finance ( COAF ) for {$23000.00}. COAF paid the wrong bank, took them several months to resolve. COAF then began to report to the credit agencies that my payments were late, even though I was STILL making payments to original loan company. COAF then closed the account, when the transferred occurred, so I couldn't make payments. Then COAF created dual accounts for my car loan. Closed one account and entered it as " repossession '' into the credit reporting agencies, while I'm simultaneously entering into a settlement agreement on the same account which COAF reported as repossessed. On XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX COAF sent settlement agreements. On XX/XX/XXXX sent a payment due notice. On XX/XX/XXXX COAF sent a " default and right to cure letter '' AND on XX/XX/XXXX COAF also sent a repossession notice. If not for my CONSTANT CALLING COAF, they would have illegally repossessed the vehicle. COAF is now advising that I need to file a dispute with the credit reporting agencies, to correct their mistake of the two accounts. SUCESSFULLY RESOLVED. On XX/XX/XXXX, a year later... did the same thing AGAIN! COAF discontinued my autopayment, and on XX/XX/XXXX COAF released the lien on the vehicle. On XX/XX/XXXX COAF began to notify the credit bureaus that the loan had been settled. I did not request a settlement, nor did I agree to a settlement.
