Consumer Complaint: I requested for a credit limit increase for my QuicksilverOne credit card from Capital One. During the application process 7 months ago it was mentioned that a customer can be eligible for a credit line increase if the account is maintained in good standing, not over the limit, paid on time and paid more than the minimum payment. I have done all these things for a period of 6 months going 7 months, however, despite all efforts, Capital One still won't increase my credit limit. I have the card for 7 months now in good standing and remained active. This is one of the unfair and unjust practices of the bank. I am just following their instructions on how to increase my credit line. I hope they will be considerate and do better. Also the fact that I'm currently employed as a XXXX XXXX in XXXX with a very acceptable annual pay.

However, the matter has not been resolved satisfactorily, and these accounts still appear on my credit report, causing significant distress and potentially damaging my creditworthiness. As a consumer protected under the provisions of Penal Law 15 U.S.C. 1681, Section 6048, Section 2, I assert my rights to fair and accurate credit reporting practices. Issue: Problem when making payments
Subissue: Problem during payment process
Consumer Complaint: I typically set up a payment weeks before it's due so that I have no problem paying my credit cards. I set this payment to be taken on Thursday, XX/XX/2023 from my checking account for {$220.00}. I'm not sure who's to blame but if I don't get the answers I need or if it's not properly handled, I will do whatever is necessary in my powers to make everyone pay for this. I feel as though someone is deliberately trying to ruin my credit. There was more than enough money to take care of this bill. Capital one even sent an email stating the payment posted. I receive a email on Thursday, XX/XX/XXXX stating he payment was returned. I'm beyond furious, trust me when I tell you this. My payments are being debited fast enough and posting as they should and it's not right.

Issue: Attempts to collect debt not owed
Subissue: Debt is not yours
Consumer Complaint: Company is engaging in fraudulent activity by trying to collect debt not owed to them, fraudulently opened account and then reported it as a charge off. Have not given consent to this company to furnish anything on my report which is in direct violation of federal laws. No consent is identity theft. Company can not collect monies for a debt that has allegedly already been paid/charged off. I have not supplied proof under the doctrine of estoppel by silence, Engelhardt v. Gravens ( mo ) 281 SW 715,719, I presume that no proof of the alleged debt, nor therefore any such debt, in fact therefore exists
