Consumer Complaint: For several years and continuing to today, CapOne 360 Savings Account paid frozen interest of 0.3 % to my long time savings account while creating a CapOne 360 Performance Savings Account that advertised at over 4 % on its main page to new customers. I was never informed that they had frozen the interest rate at a nominal amount in the 360 Savings Account. In fact, they dont even offer that 0.3 % account to any new customers but still have kept long time customers in it. The only way to get the higher rate is to close the old savings open a new one. This is deceptive advertising and bait and switch from the legacy account that I was in. Thank you for your attention to this matter. XXXX

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2023 my credit card was suddenly restricted. I reached out to inquire why and was told they sent a letter in XXXX to request proof of social security. I informed them I never received such letter and it does not reflect in my statement / documents tab in the app. They proceeded to email me the documents and I followed through with submitting the requested information ( ID, paystub, and social security card ) I was told by multiple agents that my documents were received and visible to confirm my social and will be reviewed by a team you can not communicate with within 7-10 business day. Several months has passed and its now XXXX and my account was closed with no Indication why. Throughout that time line I was reaching out every week for updates and keep being told theyre reviewing and not to worry as my documents were visible. After my account was closed I reached out again and was told that because they couldnt see all four corners of my id and social that it was not valid - this was not indicated as a requirement on the letter or by the agents I spoke to. I was advised to keep sending documents through their email portal and have not received any updates or response on if my account will be reopened

Consumer Complaint: Capital One closed my account without due cause. Capital One accepted my application which is a letter of credit that is treated as a receivable asset for Capital One. As the only original holder I have equitable interest in this account and Capital One is required to return the payments to me from my investment. Capital One has not yet paid any money due to me and closed the account. Since I can not benefit from my own asset I want the application closed and all security trading to cease. Capital One is also furnishing inaccurate information to XXXX to damage my reputation. I can not be late on an account that has equity and the interest should be applied to the balance each month.

Consumer Complaint: I am writing to address a matter of great concern regarding a recent dispute involving an ATM transaction that occurred on XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, at approximately XXXX XXXX. On the mentioned date, I attempted to withdraw {$500.00} from an ATM situated on the second floor of XXXX XXXX, located at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Unfortunately, no cash was dispensed from the ATM, yet the merchant proceeded to debit my checking account with the requested {$500.00}, along with an additional {$8.00} ATM withdrawal fee. Subsequently, on XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, I promptly submitted a claim disputing the transaction to Capital One ( my bank associated with the debit card used at the ATM ), providing all relevant details and documentation ( Claim Number : XXXX ). On XX/XX/XXXX, Capital One temporarily credited my checking account with {$500.00}, plus the {$8.00} fee, amounting to a total of {$500.00}. Regrettably, on XX/XX/XXXX, I received an email from Capital One denying my claim, citing reasons that, upon thorough examination, I find to be inaccurate. The denial was based on the assertion that their review of ATM systems and information provided by the merchant deemed the transaction valid. However, there is evidence, including video coverage from the ATM and statements from the security team at XXXX, as the resort as cameras everywhere, and proving that the {$500.00} never exited the ATM Concerned by this discrepancy, I contacted Capital One on XX/XX/XXXX, seeking clarification on the persisting {$500.00} transaction in my checking account. During this conversation, the Capital One representative informed me that the merchant of the ATM had confirmed the success of the transactiona statement I find to be fraudulent and untrue. Despite my request to resubmit the dispute claim, the representative declined to do so. To my dismay, as of XX/XX/XXXX, Capital One has permanently restricted my checking account. I am deeply troubled by the implications of both the ATM merchant and Capital One potentially engaging in fraudulent activities. Therefore, I am formally demanding the immediate resolution of this matter and the return of the {$500.00} to my checking account
