Consumer Complaint: I am writing to dispute the following information in my file. I recently received a copy of my XXXX credit report. The credit report showed credit inquiries that I don't recall authorizing. With the Fair Credit Reporting Act Section 611 ( 15 U.S.C. 1681I ), I am practicing my right to challenge this questionable information. I understand thatyou shouldn't be allowed to put an inquiry on my file unless I have authorized it. Please have this inquiry removed from my credit file because it is making it very difficult for me to acquire credit. Consumer Complaint: The payment due date on my Walmart credit card issued by CapitalOne is XX/XX/XXXX. I made my payment on the due date of XX/XX/XXXX however, CapitalOne is assessing me a {$28.00} late fee even though the following day is a federal holiday and the payment will not be processed or completed until the XX/XX/XXXX. I am attaching a screen shot of the CapitalOne mobile app to show that the late fee was assessed the same day as the payment due date and a e-mail confirming that payment was made on the due date of XX/XX/XXXX. CapitalOne is the only credit card company that has early cut off times. All the other credit card companies XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX give customers until XXXX XXXX on the payment due date to make payment before assessing a late fee. Credit card companies also program their computers to automatically assess late fees. In my opinion the federal government and the states should either limit the late fees to {$10.00} or prohibit the late fees altogether. Additionally, credit card companies are required by law to charge off accounts when no payment has been received for 180 day and once they charge off the account the late fees and interest must stop. This late fee is a junk fee just a fee to charge a fee and squeeze additional revenue out of consumers.

I resolved the debt with XXXX XXXX XXXX, however Capital One is still reporting a balance of {$670.00} when the balance reported should be {$0.00}. I have contacted Capital One several times. I have talked to XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX since XX/XX/2023, all 3 promising a removal and a balance of {$0.00} and nothing has been done since then. Also all 3 people promised a call back and email response within 72 hours and none of them delivered on this promise.

Consumer Complaint: On the morning of XX/XX/2023, I noticed that my Capital One ( Walmart ) credit card account was showing closed on the app. I had previously took out a loan with my bank to pay down my balance with Capital One. I contacted Capital One to inquire why my account was closed and my cash back funds used. The informed me that my bank had authorized this closure. I contacted my bank and was informed that they had not authorized the closure and sent me the communication ( letter ) that accompanied the payments they sent. I requested my account be reinstated and proof of closing authorization from my bank which I and my bank know they do not have. As of date, I have not received the promised communication from Capital One either explaining closure of my account, proof of authorization to close my account, location of cash back funds, or reinstatement of my account. Ive included my financial institutions loan officer that forwarded the communication ( letter ) to Capital One. As in the communication ( Letter ) that was provide to myself and Capital One by my financial institution simply states that my financial institution has been giving permission by me to inquire as to how funds provided by the financial institution were executed and my inquire about the status of my credit card account it doesnt state that the were given permission to make decisions concerning my credit card account. My loan officer has been made aware of this issue and has provided her contact information if further assistance is need from my financial institution.

Consumer Complaint: Kohl's/Capital One closed my account before my payments was 6 months/120 days past due. There was a payments made XX/XX/2023 in the amount of {$100.00}! XX/XX/2023 in the amount of {$100.00}. My credit limit was {$300.00}. My balance as of today is {$240.00}. I've contacted Kohls/ Capital One and the representative offered to remove the late fees, but wasn't willing to explain why my account was closed before the 6 months/120 days of not receiving a payment! I've never been offered a payment plan or the opportunity to reconcile my account. When I asked to speak to a supervisor, I was told the supervisor wasn't available.
