Consumer Complaint: Account name CAPITAL ONE AUTO FINANCE Account number XXXX Account type Auto Loan Responsibility Joint with XXXX XXXX Date opened XX/XX/XXXX Status Paid in settlement. {$9.00}, XXXX written off. Status updated XX/XX/XXXX Balance - Balance updated - Recent payment - Monthly payment {$0.00} Original balance {$30000.00} Highest balance {$0.00} Terms 73 Months On record until XX/XX/XXXX I have never been late on payments, and this car was a TOTAL loss, insurance and GAP paid everything. And this company reports to me that the car was repossessed, reports late payments and reports that the debt was paid for less than the value of the debt. I spoke with a person from Capital One Auto Finance and he told me to excuse them that apparently there was a mistake and that they were going to fix it, but nothing has happened, I sent all the information on the total loss to the 3 credit bureaus but they didn't do anything either.

Consumer Complaint: I am formally filing a complaint for the following accounts listed on my credit reports for the following reasons : XXXX. XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. a. Acct # : XXXX b. XXXX reported : XX/XX/22 XXXX. XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. a. Acct # : XXXX b. XXXX reported : XX/XX/22 There are several issues concerning these accounts that make them fraudulent and/or illegal. The first thing, is there is no signed application. The applications were submitted online and no one can provide me an original application with my original signature. The second thing is the credit card agreements were not clear and conspicuous, according to 15 USC 1601. I was not able to make an informed decision regarding the terms of the credit cards and their use. The companies make the agreement so long and difficult to understand, I was not able to make an informed decision. According to 15 USC 1602, since there was no evidence of indebtedness at the onset, the difficult to understand agreement was the only document attempting to explain the terms of these consumer credit transactions. Therefore the only evidence of indebtedness was the agreement. The agreement did not provide clear and conspicuous " Adequate notice '' as defined in 15 USC 1602 ( k ). Since I was not able to make an informed decision, the agreement is null and void.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX, I paid to rent a room while working in XXXX. When I arrived at the landlord 's home, I noticed that she misled me with her hosting profile. I left the unit after staying 2 nights because I felt unsafe. On XX/XX/XXXX, I filed a claim with Capital One Bank for a total of {$2500.00} after the landlord failed to provide services for a room I initially rented for 30 days. I explained this situation to the claims department and received a denial on XX/XX/XXXX. I called back to receive additional information and learned that the claim was submitted inaccurately. I resubmitted the claim with another representative who mentioned he would make a note of that. On XX/XX/XXXX, the claim was denied again. I spoke with numerous reps, with all different explanations, but it appears they refuse to approve the claim because of XXXX 's terms and conditions. However, the funds came from my Capital Checking account, which is also connected to XXXX. The landlord refused to issue a refund. As a result of this, I was forced to file a claim in court against the landlord with a court date set in XX/XX/XXXX. Due to Capital One 's failure to support me as a customer, I had to take matters into my own hands. I am disappointed in the lies and inconsistencies with their claims department. This is fraudulence on the recipient 's behalf and Capital One has done a poor job of protecting me as a customer. I believe something can and should be done about all of this.
