Consumer Complaint: I paid off my account selecting pay off account in full. After I pay the account they then charge more interest requesting I owe them more money. I called them and they declined to waive the fee. When you select pay balance and pay off the account the account should be paid off waiving interest before the next bill cycle. I would like an investigation and file a formal complaint please.

Consumer Complaint: In early XX/XX/2023, I made a purchase on the XXXX website. While completing this purchase I signed up for the NFL Extra Points Visa card which is issued by Comenity Capital Bank. I was particularly persuaded by an offer of a {$100.00} statement credit after spending {$500.00} outside of the XXXX. I received the card within XXXX days and immediately began using it. I met the {$500.00} spending requirement on or about XX/XX/2023. Since that time, I have made countless calls to Comenity Bank 's customer service department and they have failed on multiple occasions to resolve this issue. Initially, I was told during a call in XX/XX/2023 that I had to wait 90 days after opening the account to receive the {$100.00} statement credit. I waited 90 days and called Comenity Bank customer service again in XX/XX/2023 to inquire about the {$100.00} statement credit. I was told at that time that I couldn't receive the statement credit because I had a {$0.00} balance. I was told to spend at least {$100.00} on the card and that I would immediately receive the credit. I followed through on this advice and spent over {$100.00}. After not seeing an immediate credit, I called Comenity Bank yet again on XX/XX/2023 and spoke to an representative named XXXX. XXXX informed me that the information provided by the prior representatives was totally incorrect and she opened an investigation into the matter. XXXX confirmed I met the promotional requirements and assured me the issue would be resolved within XXXX XXXX Today is the XXXX day so I called about XXXX minutes ago to get the status of XXXX 's investigation. I was told by a phone representative that they had a " system issue '' that affected a large number of customers and that there is " no timeframe '' for when it will be resolved. After escalating my complaint to a supervisor named " XXXX XXXX '', I was told that I " should '' see the {$100.00} statement credit on my next billing statement. My experience with this bank has made me very skeptical that I will receive anything. Every representative I have spoken to has confirmed that I met the criteria for the promotional offer back on XX/XX/2023. It's been over 6 months and I have not received the {$100.00} statement credit. XXXX Bank continues to advertise the {$100.00} statement credit promotion via XXXX games and the XXXX XXXX website.

XXXX made a fraudulent contract with all lies using smart cheaters who spoil the vacation of the gullible. I dispute the XXXX contract # XXXX Please see the fraudulent agents of XXXX warned not to invite tourists especially in Florida and call them inside XXXX XXXX ' hotels, lies and create accounts on our name in a fraudulent bank called COMENITY CAPITAL BANK XXXX Comenity bank then sends money to XXXX and bills us. XXXX, XXXX and XXXX etc are then make bad credit rating XXXX based on fraudulent XXXX AND COMENITY CAPITAL BANK. WORKING WITH XXXX IS ALSO A PAIN AS THEY SEND PAGES AFTER PAGE OF DATA WITHNO CLEAR ANSWER. Please ensure XXXX contract # XXXX is cancelled as told them by mail immediately after we came back in 5 days. Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX statement, the statement closing date was XX/XX/XXXX and the new balance for this statement was {$850.00}. The interest charge was added at an APR of 29.99 %. When I checked the XX/XX/XXXX statement, the statement closing date was XX/XX/XXXX and the previous balance for this statement was noted to be {$850.00}. However, the interest charged on this statement was incorrect. The APR was still noted to be 29.99 %, but the balance subject to interest rate was {$2400.00} and ultimately the interest balance was overcharged at {$61.00}. The balance for XX/XX/XXXX was {$850.00}, not {$2400.00}. I am not sure where they found this balance from. I spoke about this issue to someone on the phone where they agreed with the issue. A dispute was submitted on XX/XX/XXXX regarding finance charges where they would look further into the situation. However a letter was sent out on XX/XX/XXXX that indicated that they were unable to remove the finance charges from the account.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX I went to Sephora at XXXX XXXX in XXXX XXXX to buy a gift card foe {$35.00} At the cashier I was asked so many questions like dob, last 4 digits of ssn, and when I asked for what all those questions they needed, the cashier 's answers was " maybe for some discount ''. The word " credit card '' never came up fron her mouth. I feel myself so stupid that I didn't figure it out right away. I just got my reciept where was written " congratulation you are approved for credit card ''. So, It was affected my credit history. If I don't use it, it will effect my credit history. If I close it, it will effect my credit history. I am not able to do anything without effecting my credit score. It's just a fraud to make people to open credit cards like that.

I have also included a copy from my bank showing the payment processed on XXXX, which is also reflected in comenities account as well. I was verifying the no balance due on XX/XX/11, and there was a {$3.00} " interest '' charge, despite the fact that I had paid the balance in full. I contacted XXXX same date ( XX/XX/11 ) advising account was paid in full the prior month and no interest should be oustanding. They responded that interest was due. I provided the copy of my payment, and they keep saying interest is due despite my question to them asking how they can charge interest on a XXXX balance account. Two separate message strings are attached.
