I recently ordered a new credit report and noticed it contains late payments as well as collections reported as late as XX/XX/2023 for my J. Crew, Express, as well as XXXX XXXX XXXX account. I want to also mention that I have since paid off these obligations. I want you to know that I understand my financial obligations, and if it werent for certain circumstance such temporary unemployment and having to choose whether to make my card payments or feed my family, in which caused me to miss Id have an excellent repayment record. I made a mistake in falling behind, however, again I have since satisfactorily paid off these accounts and have maintained good money management. So much so that, since then, Ive had a spotless record of on-time payments. Im planning to apply for mortgage in the next month or so and its come to my attention that these accounts are currently reporting as derogatory on my credit report in turn affects my ability to qualify. It is my idea that, my failed commitments in the past does not reflect my creditworthiness and commitment to repaying my debts. It would help me immensely if you could give me a second chance and make a goodwill adjustment to remove the derogatory status on the above said accounts. Consumer Complaint: I have an Ulta rewards credit card. I have not used the card since XX/XX/. I made a purchase XX/XX/. I decided to look into my past purchases to see everything i order and the shipping status and noticed there were 5 transactions On XX/XX/XXXX that I did not make. XXXX of these transactions were cancelled, however, someone made an actual transaction with my ulta credit card and picked up the Item in store. I looked at my credit card transactions and there was the purchase on my statement. I called the number on the back of the card 3 times, tried to get ahold of a real person to talk to but the automated robot would not transfer me. I reported the fraud to XXXX XXXX. I then called the ulta number again and decided to cancel the card and account. The robot said a new account was opened and ill receive a new card soon, but that doesnt help with the charges made from the person who stole my credit card information.

Consumer Complaint: Attn CFO : NOTICE TO AGENT IS NOTICE TO PRINCIPAL AND NOTICE TO PRINCIPAL IS NOTICE TO AGENT 15 U.S. Code 6802 - Obligations with respect to disclosures of personal information CB/EXPRESS it has come to my attention that you illegally reported my information to unaffiliated 3rd parties without giving me my disclosures. Pursuant 15 USC 6802 you are required by law to give me 3 disclosures I have checked all documents from your institution given to me and none of these documents contained any of the required disclosures pursuant 15 USC 6802 ( b ). ( b ) OPT OUT ( 1 ) IN GENERAL financial institution may not disclose nonpublic personal information to a nonaffiliated third party unless ( A ) such financial institution clearly and conspicuously discloses to the consumer, in writing or in electronic form or other form permitted by the regulations prescribed under section 6804 of this title, that such information may be disclosed to such third party ; ( B ) the consumer is given the opportunity, before the time that such information is initially disclosed, to direct that such information not be disclosed to such third party ; and ( C ) the consumer is given an explanation of how the consumer can exercise that nondisclosure option. Consumer Complaint: Comenity Bank listed me as a joint account holder despite the fact that I never signed as a joint account holder when the account was opened. I have disputed this account for several years through the credit bureaus. The actual account holder filed bankruptcy ( unknown to me ) and Comenity Bank reported this account as closed and past due for several months. When I call I am told that I do not have a XXXX account and they refuse to send me direct correspondence. I was forced to pay the account off because they continued to ruin my credit. I received a call from a Comenity Bank manager ( XXXX XXXX XXXX who claimed I should have never paid and that Comenity Bank would send me a refund ( Still waiting on the refund ). XXXX further stated that Comenity Bank should not have reported the past due amounts on my credit report and that they would send letters to the credit bureaus to correct the reporting. XXXX said I could keep her phone number and call her if I have questions, I called and left a voicemail over week ago and have yet to receive a return call. Comenity Bank refuses to send me copies of the letter they supposedly sent to the credit bureaus. I am trying to obtain a mortgage and this negative reporting has caused irreparable harm to my credit.

Consumer Complaint: I sent in a check for the final bill, which would have paid it in full, they said it was late, but was sent in plenty of time. they charged me a XXXX fee. I closed the account they continued to charge me late fees. and interest on the account. They are a dishonest company. I recommend that no one use Comenity Capital Bank. They refused to cooperate and ended up charging me XXXX and a promise to continue to charge late fees. I have never had any credit card company try to pull this kind of XXXX. Even though the account was closed they continue to charge late fees and raise them each month.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX I had learned my XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX was charged for XXXX separate transactions that i did NOT make. XXXX on XX/XX/2023 for {$570.00} for multi merchandise & GiftCards for {$250.00}. Second on XX/XX/XXXX for {$620.00} for multi Merchandise and XXXX {$250.00} XXXX. I Immediately notified XXXX XXXX XXXX, They informed me the last XXXX numbers of the card that was used to make these purchases which is confirmed NOT my Physical card which i have with me but a " Virtual Card " Which left me with more questions than answers. How these purchases were made without my card or my ID? XXXX had told me they opened an investigation but could NOT tell me an exact time frame when the person ( s ) made these purchases or How. I had then Reached out to XXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX where the purchases were made. They also informed me they could not assist me since they do not have records after XXXX hours. However they were able to tell me along with purchases made there were also Multi Gift Cards made as well also they told me to contact my credit bureaus to inform and dispute. I also had called XXXX Customer Service and again was informed they could not tell me anymore information then i already know again NOT HOW this happened or provide at the very least a receipt with a time frame of purchases to be able to view cameras fees etc. They informed me they would escalated this further, and to file a police report. So I filed XXXX police reports, I had received a phone call a week later informing me from the store they dont have footage from the cameras if its more than a week. After I filed my police reports, I contacted my credit bureau to file a dispute against XXXX. A month goes by without an email/phone call piece of mail nothing. So I reach out to XXXX XXXX for an update. Spoke to a The fraud dept he said they are still investigating, but with the police report number he chose to close the account. Another month goes by and I receive a bill from XXXX Comenity, I logged in which i was surprised I could even still do and saw the chargers for the transactions were on now my balance. I immediately call XXXX comenity once again spoke to another supervisor who informed me that because I filed a dispute with my credit bureau they were saying I was disputing the entire account Vs the transactions. I Informed them I absolutely did not! For filing a dispute to my credit bureau which is what every team from XXXX and the police told me to do. They decided to put all charges on my Credit Card without informing me of anything, after going back and forth with the supervisor he advise me to turn off auto pay and file another dispute with the credit bureau. The Supervisor also told me We live in a world where people know how to hack to the system. I have never in my life been hacked, or had anything like this happen to me in my life. I had put my trust with a credit company that clearly does not care enough to have a better security system to make sure this could never happened. Also does not even have the decency to keep me informed about anything. After the call, I called into XXXX and told them every single detail. They filled out another dispute again this time on the phone involving the transactions like I originally had set for it in the first place. However XXXX XXXX has yet again still not notified me of any investigation/ or freeze my account absolutely nothing. For a credit card company to treat there consumer that has paid faithfully every single month and to make the consumer feel like anything but the victim is unacceptable.
