Consumer Complaint: I am writing about the repeated obfuscation by Comenity Capital Bank XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Credit Card ) for the dispute that involved a {$1000.00} charge with XXXX that took place in XXXX of XX/XX/XXXX. I never received the product and have contacted the merchant with no resolution. From XXXX thru XXXX ofXX/XX/XXXX, I have begun hour-long phone calls several times a month with Comenity, speaking with over 30 customer representatives to inquire about the disputed charge and to attempt to proceed with a fair investigation process. Each representative told me a different story, contradicting one another, transferring me to 5+ agents in a single phone call, having me wait hours on the phone, only to reach no resolution at the end of every ordeal. But the commonality remained : Comenity was deliberately obstructing a fair investigation process and attempted everything at its disposal to not refund its customers the money that they have lost. After months of dealing with the wrong account protection department, I was finally transferred to the right dispute department on XX/XX/2023. However, on XX/XX/2023, the dispute department closed my dispute case and claimed they have finished their investigation in merely 3 days. When inquired about what evidence they have and what their investigation entailed, I was met with silence and further obfuscation. I have written an appeal letter. However, I was told through 4 layers of escalation that the appeal will have little impact on the investigation.

Consumer Complaint: XXXX debt collection company has been spam calling my phone from hidden numbers and blocked numbers. Ive asked for proof that the debt is mine and belongs to me which I have yet to receive from the company via email and phone. When they sent their first email I requested to not be contacted any further. Theyve been contacting me via email and phone claiming that I owe over {$600.00} to them from my Ulta card. My card had been used to purchase items that never were successfully delivered to me, therefore I am requesting proof of purchase since all deliveries required signature on delivery. I am willing to pay the fees if the debt can be proven as mine. But I do feel this company XXXX and Ultas Commenity bank has been repeatedly harassing me and XXXX have even threatened me with various deceptive and false statements such as telling me they would have my wages garnished had I not worked to pay them or came to an agreement with them. XXXX was very difficult to work with and come to agreements with .The company continually has violated FDCPA. Their means of communicating and contacting are very abusive, harassing and oppressive. When it was expressed that I was having a difficult time following and understanding the workers were very hostile and rude. They did not politely help me come to an understanding of what was being asked of me. In fact, when I asked questions the workers would get angry. They stated calls were recording so hopefully it can be reviewed for quality purposes.

Consumer Complaint: Charge for {$160.00} was discovered on my Comenity account. The account has not been used for over 1 year and no charges were authorized. The accounts have been closed and I have received the XXXX balance letters form the bank. However, it is still showing on my credit report. I contacted the company to let them know there was an issue. They informed me it was noted as fraud. Two weeks later, their billing department called to tell me I was late making a payment. I informed them, again, that it was fraud and the accounts had been closed, with a XXXX balance.

I have been turned down for a credit due to mis-reporting information, I have found inaccuracies that should be immediately investigated. I was able to be informed by the bank that they agreed to update the based on the request to send in the XXXX XXXX XXXX. The agent on the phone they'd update their records once I submitted the letter. I have complete knowledge of the Fair Credit Reporting Act and understand that these companies have a responsibility to notify me prior to or no later than 30 days of such negative activity reporting against me. XXXX
