Consumer Complaint: My credit report shows an account with amount past due more than 150 days. The account is of ComenityCB/XXXX. 1 ) When connected with XXXX as well as XXXX, I was informed that I had used the card in XX/XX/XXXX- where as I left USA in XX/XX/XXXX and have returned back in USA on XXXX XX/XX/XXXX. I wasn't in the country when they are claiming that I had used the card. How can I use the card? 2 ) when was the credit card applied and issued? 3 ) which documents were submitted for card application? 4 ) were the submitted documents / mobile number verified? nowadays due to digital anyone can create fake documents. 5 ) which products were purchased and how? ( instore OR online ) 6 ) was it delivered? if yes, then where - share the address and proof of delivery ( XXXX or USPS or XXXX or etc... )? Please share photocopy of all the above documents. Since XX/XX/XXXX, I connected multiple times with XXXX as well as XXXX XXXX cards, and also gave them all of my details including SSN number, Name, all previous addresses, phone numbers, etc as they werent able to pull up my account with only SSN number. still, no positive update. In my life I have never unpaid anyone for which I am liable ; also, I do NOT wish to pay anyone for which I am NOT liable. This is a pure case of charges imposing on wrong person - whatsoever the reason may be. I request you to please look into this seriously. People like me trust the CFPB authorities to get the honest solution. due to this my credit score has been impacted badly and my insurance cost and all others have increased drastically. Even my bank is not willing to give me credit card. I am okay to continue without credit card but looking for serious justice and compensation for this harrassment. According to me I dont have any relation/ transactions with XXXX XXXX XXXX / XXXX and hence there is nothing that i can upload. also, hence the claimed charges are null and void.

Consumer Complaint: I received my statement for Comenity The Children 's Place charge card. I paid the card off last month, XXXX. It was surprising when I received a statement with an interest charge of {$2.00}. I called and spoke to a representative. I asked her how can I accumulate interest on a XXXX balance. She said interest still accumulates if the balance isn't paid off 30 days after purchase. She said something about an interest saver feature. I thought I was saving on interest by paying off my balance. This is a deceptive feature of their card. This made no sense to me. I paid off the bill in XXXX. How is interest still accumulating on a XXXX balance? I wonder how many customers have paid interest on a XXXX balance since they didn't pay their balance off in 30 days after purchase. The customer service rep is supposed to delete the interest off of my account, but I don't trust them. Am I going to get another interest charge next month on another XXXX balance? How can per day interest count on XXXX dollars?

Consumer Complaint: I have store credit from Zales, credit company is Comentity. They have consistently been sending their bills late. When they do arrive on time, its usually 2 to 3 days right before the due date. In addition, I have been consistently having trouble with making payments over the phone. Glitch after glitch, also the numbers to call is different each time, and on top of that they're threatening to charge me {$9.00} for a convivence fee just to make payment over the phone. Their statement don't even have the full credit card number, but their automated system is asking me for it. As a result, I am being unfairly charged over a {$100.00} worth of late fees. I don't know if this is just gross incompetence, or intentional as part of their scam. I have already contacted both Comentity 's and Zales ' customer service departments about a week ago. Comentity just blew me off and I haven't heard from them ; Zales ' passed the buck to Comentity.

In all cases, except for Express, I stopped using the card due to endless problems with wrong balances, inconsistencies and accessing portals etc to make a payment. Consumer Complaint: This is a case of conflict of interest against the consumer, summarized as follows : Credit issuer is declining to issue a chargeback to their partner store card merchant for defective merchandise returned, because their partner store card merchant feels their return policy has been violated [ paragraph 5 ]. Credit issuer admits in their attached letter that they are " ( not ) responsible for handling matters related to sales, merchandise processing, returns and shipping. '' [ paragraph 4 ] Yet credit issuer, despite acknowledging in their own words that " the laptop was liquidated ( by their partner store card merchant ) '' [ paragraph 5 ], refuses to refund the consumer for a defective device no longer in the possession of said consumer - flying in the face of their immediately preceding assertion, instead acting as the enforcer of the return policy. If there were no conflict of interest and the credit issuer claim that " Comenity Capital Bank and XXXX & XXXX XXXX are separate entities '' [ paragraph 4 ] were truthful ; credit issuer could only have decided on the logical basis of the physical possession of the defective merchandise, instead of a third party return policy. Clearly this is not the case as credit issuer has based their decision on an ostensibly third party return policy instead.
