Consumer Complaint: I paid {$200.00} less on XX/XX/2022 statement. I was charged interest of {$58.00} due to this underpayment. I object and dispute this finance charge. I also understand that this unreasonable interest charge calculation method may have been on the terms in small prints when we signed the credit card agreement. I spoke with XXXX ID # XXXX. She made me understand that this charge will not be waived and will continue to accrue finance charges until my account is paid in full. This is not right, and I need to know how they arrived at this amount. Interest can be calculated only on the amount owed.

Consumer Complaint: At the beginning of XXXX ( during the pandemic ) I needed an emergency dental procedure and was encouraged by my dentist office to sign up for an interest free credit card program for low income patients called XXXX XXXX. Upon doing so, I agreed to make an interest free automatic monthly payment from that day forward, in order to pay for the {$1800.00} procedure, and I have held up my end of the agreement. It has now been three years of these " interest free '' automatic monthly payments which by my calculations totals {$2000.00}. This amount exceeds the original amount owed. When I tried to reach someone to speak with, the person on the phone was difficult to understand due to a language barrier, and she was unable to see anything prior to this years billing statement. Upon requesting to speak to someone else regarding the matter, she would not transfer me to someone else who could possibly help me. I called numerous times and ran into the same obstacle by phone. When I looked at my online statement, I noticed that in previous months, my monthly automatic payments had fluctuated to higher amounts sometimes without my knowledge or consent. Most alarming, was that the current billing statement indicates that I have only paid {$400.00} of the original {$1800.00}. In reading through the recent statement, I noticed there have been new agreements made regarding the original contract, without my consent ( signature ), nor was I made aware of these changes. I have never signed a new agreement nor was I informed of one. As of XX/XX/XXXX, my payments have exceeded the original amount owed and I can not afford to continue to make payments on what appears to be a new amount owed, for a bill that is three times higher than the original amount owed. I was advised to write a letter to the company ( Disputes division ) and so I did. I am still waiting to hear back from the company.

Consumer Complaint: I was notified of a hard inquiry to my credit report for a Comenity Bank credit card for Kay XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX that I did not apply for. I have had issues in the past with identity theft and thankfully the card was not approved due to the fraud alert I have placed on my credit report. However, it is still showing as a hard inquiry and I would like that to be removed. I called XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX and opened a credit inquiry dispute I called Comenity bank and was transferred to a Kay XXXX representative who made a notation that this inquiry was fraudulent. I have tried to contact Comenity bank directly, but can not get through to a live person because I can not get through the automated prompts without an account number. I called XXXX who told me I could only dispute the hard inquiry by filing a complaint with the FTC and then sending them a letter in the mail. I just would like this removed

Subissue: Credit card company isn't resolving a dispute about a purchase on your statement
Consumer Complaint: I bought a XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX in XX/XX/2023 for {$3400.00} dollars from Diamonds international. It was purchased with a comenity bank credit card. Two days after buying it I noticed 2 Diamonds missing, so I contacted Diamonds International for a refund back to my card for the ring to be returned to them. Which after many months of going back and forth with them they refused. So I disputed the charges with comenity bank and ask them to do a charge back to Diamonds International for defective merchandise that was sold to me and comenity bank refused. They said I signed an agreement that said Diamonds International would give me store credit if I returned the ring. I have tried contacting Diamonds International to return the ring for store credit and I'm being ignored again. This has been going on for almost a year and I've not wore the ring I'm paying {$3400.00} dollars for but one time and that was in XXXX XXXX because I'm afraid more diamonds will fall out. I notified comenity bank once again for them to do a charge back and once again they refused. I'm being ignored by Diamonds International on how to return the ring so now I don't want to return it for store credit because I don't trust neither company. I may return the ring and never see any store credit and if I did receive store credit what kind of jewerly will I receive? More junk that they are trying to fraudently pawn off on a customer just to get their money. Diamonds International is a scam to begin with. There's multiple complaints on that company online. I just wish I would have seen them before I bought my ring. Comenity bank doesn't care about their customers either. I'm very dissatisfied with both places.

Consumer Complaint: The former issuing bank of my DELL credit card was changed. When reviewing a statement I noticed a charge on my card that I did not make. It was a charge that I recognized but was paid off in the past, under the old issuing bank. I was in shock. Why would this transfer over under the new issuing bank? Are they kidding me. It was a charge approx {$100.00} for a Dell horizon backpack. It was originally purchased in XXXX of XXXX. I called the new bank immediately. They put it under dispute but I am still furious over this. How could this even happen? How dare they? It should have been removed immediately. Who's fault was this? Was it the fault of the company? Dell? If it was the new bank shoudl have told me that. I have to wait now as this is under dispute? What about an interest I was charged now on this error. Its just sloppy and unacceptable. They should have credited it immediately, since it never should have happened.

Consumer Complaint: **This is not a duplicate complaint** This is a new complaint with the same company** I have an account with a community bank through Alphaeon Credit. The account is set up with autopay to avoid worrying about the monthly payments. Yesterday, I noticed the autopay hadn't been charged for a long time and decided to log into the Alphaeon account to make sure the autopay was still set up. The autopay is still set up, and everything looks fine ; I noticed a balance of {$280.00}, so I decided to program the payment manually. Later that day, XX/XX/2024, I received a notification from my credit report stating that the community bank reported late payments on my credit. Even though they have a bank account set up as autopay, they never contacted me via phone, mail, or email to inform me if it is any issues relating to the autopayment. Now, my credit report shows one late payment from a community bank, which affects me as a consumer for my future purchases. I have tried to call multiple times since yesterday and chat with customer service, but there is no answer.
