Consumer Complaint: I paid off the balance on my Torrid Credit card last month on XXXX XXXX, 2022. I received another bill from them stating that they were charging me two late payments and a {$1.00} interest payment and also a finance payment. When I called in to the credit card company they said they charged me both late payments because I was late. I was not late and when I paid online I marked the box that said pay full statement off. The credit card company did nothing to look into fixing anything.

Consumer Complaint: I took a 2 year promotional balance for a XXXX on an XXXX credit card.My understanding was that XXXX was supposed to split the payments equally, to be paid off in 2 years. However, after 2 years, I owed {$1000.00} and they charged me an additional {$1000.00}, and I now owe {$2000.00}, doubling the final balance that I owe. XXXX did not contact me to notify me that the promotion was ending. When I called multiple times to request if I could pay the final {$1000.00} and be done with the account, they refused. They were not transparent with their terms, did not split the payments equally and did not contact me to to notify me that my account balance would double. XXXX is a scam and I will never do business with them again.

Consumer Complaint: XXXX XXXX XXXX, CEO Comenity Bank XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX I am writing regarding XXXX XXXX XXXX, CEO of Commenity Bank who is allowing Identity Fraud on my card and even has the audacity to charge me for these fraudulent charges. This complaint can be validated by the Partner BJs XXXX XXXX who markets this card. In fact, you can see below XXXX XXXX XXXX, Vice President of BJs is also allowing this to happen as my account was compromised back on XX/XX/2021 I reported it to Commenity Bank to stop the card because I received a call on my cell phone stating they are BJs XXXX Mastercard. I even gave them the phone number that came up on the caller ID and wrote and called both Commenity and BJs to stop my card before something happens. What tipped me off the Identity Theft was the person on the phone had my full Commenity Card Number and was trying to validate my Social Security. Second, I did not have on file my Cell number as all my cards I use my land line for protection. I wrote to Commenity to close the account as no charge happened that day. Well, Commenity Fraud did nothing and fraudulent charges made to XXXX online started to appear on my statement late XXXX and XXXX. After several calls to stop the card to no avail. Now XXXX XXXX XXXX, CEO is running a scam sending me a letter saying they are going to ruin my credit by reporting my disputes as valid charges in hope of extortion of these charges and ruining my status as good credit with the XXXX agencies. I have the letter sent on behalf with the knowledge of the CEO. So, we have both BJs and Commenity running Consumer Fraud and Protection Scams and want to put this on record as the AG should prosecute both firms. I will send the formal papers to the AG this week with the documents to support it. As I been still fighting this illegal activity for months as both are just doing nothing. XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX is totally aware of this and going along for the ride, so her name will be put in as she is condoning this illegal activity. In fact, this morning I called the representatives and told him received a call from their XXXX Call Center telling me this charge was to be made zero, they will close the account and open me up a new card and account for protection. But I suspect this is a scam to lure me into screwing up my credit with the credit reporting agencies. Looking to hear from you, as I will show you all emails and even messages sent to both entities. Both did zero. Sincerely XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX

Consumer Complaint: There is an account from Comenity Capital/Zales reporting as a charge-off on my credit report. In XXXX, I submitted a dispute to the credit bureaus and pointed out a discrepancy in the date of last activity, and also stated that the date of last payment was missing. I also submitted a direct dispute to Comenity Capital/Zales . Upon checking my credit report again now in XXXX, the account has not been corrected or removed. If an account was closed because it was charged-off, how can it report a charge-off each month? This account is repeatedly reporting a charge-off every month. This is inaccurate and unfair reporting. How can this account be reporting without showing the date it was closed? If the date closed is not reporting, then it is unverified information. I am attaching a copy of my disputes to demonstrate that the Credit Reporting Agencies and Furnisher were notified that the Comenity Capital/Zales account on my credit report is reporting inaccurate and incomplete information.

Consumer Complaint: I ordered sweaters on XX/XX/XXXX. When I didn't receive them by XX/XX/XXXX, I emailed XXXX XXXX and was informed that the XXXX were delivered on XX/XX/XXXX. I check my front steps daily for mail and/or packages, since I do a lot of online ordering and the package was not there on or after XX/XX/XXXX. Perhaps it was stolen or delivered to the wrong address. Either way, they have provided no proof that the package was delivered, as there were no pictures of the package at my address and I did not receive a text or email that it was delivered. I was informed by Customer Support that I needed to fill out an affidavit proving non-receipt of the package, which I did and sent by US Mail to their Customer Relations Analyst in XXXX XXXX, TX. However, I did not realize that I should send it by registered mail so I would have proof that it was sent, because I have never been distrusted to the extent this company has gone. I then filed a dispute with their bank, Commenity Bank and did not hear from the bank until XX/XX/XXXX that my dispute was denied and that I owed the original {$79.00} plus any accumulated late fees. On XX/XX/XXXX, I emailed XXXX XXXX Customer Support regarding the bank 's letter and was informed by XXXX and XXXX that my affidavit was never received and because so much time had elapsed, the sale was now final and could not be reversed. Today, XX/XX/XXXX, I received an email bill from XXXX XXXX that I now owe {$100.00}, due XX/XX/XXXX. For items I never received.
